A few weeks ago l seem to recall there were several comments on this forum in support of Gen Honore's critcism of the Houston mayor's failure to order an evacuation before Hurricane Harvey.  Well today the good general was asked to comment on our President's tweet that was highly critical of the mayor of San Juan. PR.  General Honore responded by sayin he had no response except to point out that the mayor was sleeping on a cot while the president was enjoying golf at one of his resorts on the taxpayer's dime!  Do those who praised the general then regarding comments about Houston still praise him now regarding his comments on San Juan?

Yes!!  Emphatically, I feel the same about Trump and liberal idiots, as before.  Let's review:  Houston's liberal idiot mayor made the wrong decision about evacuation that caused tremendous pain and agony for residents and those who had to come in and save the needlessly desperate citizens.  Compare that to Florida:  Successful Evacuation ordered.  Minimum deaths when faced with much more dangerous storm.  Republican state government that was prepared and covered all aspects of the disaster as well as humanly possible.  Puerto Rico: a third world country run by liberal socialist idiots who have totally ruined the economy of PR via socialist BS.  BTW, the Interstate Highway from the US to PR to carry all the trucks of goodies doesn't exist.  PR appears to have all the resources of Baghdad.  Why didn't PR have water bottles stored for emergencies, why is the country bankrupt before Maria......I could go on, but I'm sure real people know the truth....you don't....

Just four days ago San Juan, Puerto Rico Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz Soto praised FEMA for the work on the island.

The San Juan mayor accused FEMA and President Trump of offering her no help.
She said this in front of a pallet of US aid.

For the record… Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz has refused to visit the FEMA headquartersafter several invitations and is not participating in ANY FEMA meetings.
