Steve, as you know, Deano the owner of American Water sports passed away last month. Rumor is you are going to become involved with this operation? We are trying to decide where to store our boat this year and will also need service and repairs. Can you advise if you are in fact going to be involved with this operation as this will make a big difference on our decision?

That is a pretty tough question.  Indeed Deano (a fellow YAMAHA dealer) passed on.  There has been conversations between Debbie (Deano's wife) and myself concerning some type of involvement with American Watersports service.  Logistically speaking this would be extremely difficult for me.  Also, it would be hard for Dee Dee (my wife and Boss) to keep up with much more than she has on her plate at this very moment.  I will be chatting with them later in the day, and will gladely pass on any promising developments.  Meanwhile, if yall need anything concerning Marine/Mechanical call Debbie, (256-825-5568) or you can call us at Cathouse Marine. 334-517-6500

Well I sure hope you can work this out! Steve, there are many of us that do not have trailers and the pick up for storage & redelivery service they offer is exactly what we need on this lake. Also your excellent reputation for quality technical work is outstanding! We will look forward to hearing any productive information you care to share with us!

I would really like to have Catboat's knowledge around Dadeville; had used them when they were at Blue Creek for a repair that I was not going to do, and all was great except that Randy guy that worked for him...  Just kidding, even he was a decent, straight-forward person. ;-) 

At the same time, if I were Steve, I would not stretch myself so thin.  He is planted in the Prattville area, and I can understand that he would feel that he cannot serve an area over an hours drive away with the same high standards.

We bought our last boat from Deano and Donna and will certainly miss him.  I have also noted Debbie's number - thank you Steve.

BTW...  Went to a fish fry at Cathouse - Prattville many years ago, and Steve can fry some fish and hushpuppies...  I still prefer my Primo and lump charcoal for grill/smoker work though.
