The media is hysterical about condeming Trump for something a Democratic Congresswoman says he said.  The wife burst into tears over his insensitivity.  Now this woman was on her way to meet her husband's casket - do we think that perhaps she was a tad emotional?  Do we think that perhaps she was a bit in shock?  She had the President on Speaker Phone?  

The thing is that few of us are silver tongued devils when it comes to expressing sympathy.  It's hard to know what to say, and he was speaking to a woman he doesn't know,  who is on her way to Dover to meet her husband's casket.  So why didn't they look at the intent, rather than the actual words (if in fact he said that "he knew what he was signing up for", and BTW, that is likely true)  Of course, if it had been Obama they would have been falling all over themselves with praise, no matter what he said.  Do we detect a bit of politics and racism on the part of the Congresswoman, and most likely the family of the fallen.  OMG, Trump didn't even use the "h" word (hero).

Regarding the use of the label "hero".  While I appreciate how our military goes off into the unknown with no guarentees they will return, does that make them a hero?  If you are killed in action, are you a hero?  You know, hero used to be reserved for the truly heroic action - the guy that goes to save his buddies, with no regard for his personal safety.  The guy that doesn't stop shooting until the enemy takes him out.  The men in Somolia that jumped out of a helicopter in order to go to their colleagues that were pinned down in a crashed helicopter.  In the Pentagon, there is an entire room that has the names of all the Congressional Medal of Honor awardees.  Those people are the heroes.  While it is always unfortunate and sad when a military member is killed, that does not make him a hero.  You may think that is harsh on my part, but everyone cannot be a hero, because then it makes the term meaningless.  

And another tidbit - it is not the  responsibility of the President to call the family of a fallen military member.  It is their decision to do it. Otherwise the job falls to the Secretary of Defense and/or the Service Chief.

It is interesting how times have changed.  I seriously doubt Obama called every spouse of every soldier KIA, nor did Bush or Clinton or any others.  Imagine if FDR or LBJ were held to that standard.  They were still sending telegrams during the Vietnam War.  This is a concerted, orchestrated effort by the Democrats and the govt media.....but I repeat myself....to disrupt and deflect Trump from accomplishing anything and from being reelected.  They failed in 2016 and they are now doubling down.  The govt media is no longer the 4th estate, it is simply the puppetmaster of the Democrat party with rubes like Schumer, Pelosi, et al at their beck and call.  They have zero credibility and you can literally believe nothing of what they report about Trump.  They are deranged.

The govt media has been caught so many times with fake news that you cannot believe them when it comes to Trump.  That is a sad fact and one of their own making.  When 90% plus of the news about Trump is negative, when they ignore his accomplishments, and when they fixate on silly things like what he said to a widow of a fallen soldier while real, important news like Uranium One is swept under the rug they have abrogated their role as the 4th estate and have become the defacto head of the Democrat party.  They have no one to blame but themselves for their spectacular demise. 

Just watch the Project Veritas videos with employees of the NY Times for proof.  You could substitute them for the networks or any major city newspaper and the result would be the same.  But of course hearing it from the horse's mouth is not enough proof for someone suffering from acute TDS.  Get help Goofy......sanity and reality are out there waiting for you....before it's too late and you plumb the depths of mental illness so far that you can never get back.

She was yucking it up and wanting to call her kids and tell them she's a rock star.......  She is an utter disgrace but sadly standard operating procedure for leftists.  She loves every minute of the attention and doesn't mind one bit using the grief of a family to get it.  I would say "wow" but what would be the point.  Democrats view every tragedy from the lens of politics, power and financial rewards.  She is just acting like any other Democrat and there are tons of them wishing they were her.....sequined cowboy hat and illiteracy to boot.

He is such a rock star I had to look him up.  Sorry Goofy, but unlike Frederica we abhor everything that guy stands for and he has never and will never be a member of Congress.....something you can't say about your rock star.  You own her so I would double on your meds because your attempt at moral equivalency has fallen flat on its proverbial face.  Make sure you keep your BMW SUV washed.....I hope you buy carbon credit offsets as those are not very fuel efficient.  Oh wait, driving unsafe tin cans is for the rabble, not for "enlightened" leftists.
