So tempting.  Since they like "experiences" instead of "things", we could see that they get a year's air miles.  Millenials are the reason I'm glad I am 62.  By the time they really get in charge in any significant way - I'll probably have expired.

This is exactly why leftists have gravitated toward academia.  When you look at history textbooks you will understand the invincible ignorance of that generation.  They have been indoctrinated with lies since pre-school and then it accelerates when they get to college where to final nail in their ignorance coffin is pounded home.  The only way this is going to change is for school systems take back control of their cirriculum.  Until then the brainwashing will continue unabated.

  Seeing the absolute ignorance of history in students today and being retired, I signed up to audit a 202 history course at Jeff State in Pell City. It was worse than I thought. The first thing this "professor" wrote on the board was that this class was being taught from a MARXIST PROSPECTIVE!  I asked him what has Marxism ever produced but poverty, oppression and mass murder!  He even showed a XXX movie on Hitler being homosexual in a mixed class room! I didn't do too well in that class.

   Everything the left advocates weakens America industrially, militarially, morally or intelectually! Ignorant people are easied to lead. This is why the left infiltrated our education systen.

   I have asked many good retired people to audit these classes and watch the "brain washing" going on.  The last half of my class was taught much diffrerent from the first. Turn over a rock and the roaches run.

    We should make the book, Mig Pilot by John Baron required reading in all high schools to see the contrast in the two systems. Pick up a copy. It's great.

Can't just blame the education system.  Parents who see to and provide for their every want and need, who continually tell their kids that they are winners, even when they lose; who hover over them and intercede every time the least thing goes wrong for them have contributed to the problem.  It seems natural to me that they would have no problem with the concept of a government where (theoretically) every need is provided by the government.  That everything would be given to you and you wouldn't have to compete would seem appealing to them.  And if it is reinforced in education, that makes it even more appealing.  

I have no particular problem with a class being taught from a Marxist perspective, because in the past we were taught to think critically - we learned that life was not fair and that it flies in the face of human nature to think that a culture of equal shares and everything provided would be successful.  But since they no longer teach critical thinking - these concepts naturally appeal to those for whom everything has been provided.  

But keep in mind it is not just today's education.  The liberal mindset has always existed in education; it has always been the environment for ivory tower thinking. It hasn't changed much.  I don't remember being taught the cold hard facts about WWII in school - it was only after I left school and did a lot of reading, did I really understand.
