So as I tried to figure out the channel configuration on the basis package, I decided to call Troy Cable and ask for a channel lineup for the lake Martin area.  After being transferred to a number of employees I was told I needed to go “that” office to get the lineup.  I asked where “that office” might be, I was transferred again and was then told she could send me the listing.  I tried to explain what had happened since they purchased ComLink; that the channels that are found when you perform a channel search on the tv; that there duplications of channels in varying resolution; and the there are channel that have dashes such as 105-5, etc.

so I thought finally I can get a listing.  They emailed it to me and it is the listing dated July 12, 2016.  The first 70 channels are listed correctly and shown in 480 resolution (awful). So the other channels from 70 tp 122-2 are not listed.  The listing shows other packages which I assume requires a box of some sort.  Moral to the story is Troy Cable doesn’t know what appears on their Lake Martin customers nor do they care?  Why did they buy Comlink?

So if you have a smart tv on Troy Cable and have developed a listing that you can share, please do.  In the meantime I will develop one and share soon.

Most recent TV I bought has a good Favorites on the remote.  I surfed thru and added the ones I most watch.  also, the smart TV lists my most recent ones when I push the home button.

Without purchasing the Troy Cable Box (which I have never had) you will get the channels to your TV based on what your TV receives them as....it is a qualcom chip or something like that.  That is not Troy Cable's operation.  I agree that it is a pain to push 105-2 instead of 12-1 but that is the way it is.

My TVs are Samsung and Vizio.  Not a big deal, just amazed that they don’t seem to know that about the smart TVs .  If I received only 480 resolution channels for the price, I would go directv.

Martini, just go to Wal-Mart and buy a decent roof antenna. Then borrow yourself someone's teenager and have him walk around on the roof with it while you scan channels and yell at him through an open window. It's an old southern tradition.
