Yes, of course Matt Lauer wants a golden parachute - he's going to be basically unemployable now.  He'll no doubt write a book.  

Pelosi and Schumer are just hoping to create doubt or at least slow the process down.  Wasn't it Pelosi that said with the Obamacare bill - let's get this passed and then we'll read it?  I really don't know how she got so powerful.  Another old person who ought to get out and let someone productive in there.
