According to my internet router, Verizon wireless 4G was out of service from about 1:40 AM to 2:48 AM Sunday morning.  Other than that, no power or other internet outages noted here on Manoy Creek.  That outage may have been a planned one for VZW.  Since they don't annouce such things, the outage is known, but the reason is not.

The power was out in Lakeview Heights from abiut 4am till around 11am. I just didn't feel up to posting it like I normally do because I am suffering with some post op complications and just got out of the hospital again Friday. My S.O. Drove to bham to get me in the height of the blizzard, God bless her. I actually saw "white out" conditions on the way homes. Something I NEVER thought I would see in Alabama. I sleep with the TV on and dish never went out until the power did.

Also interesting is that from J'gap to UAB SO said not a single  car off the road. Then all the way back either until we cross the river bridge and between there and dadeville there was three. Go figure. The snow hadn't even covered the grass here VS 6 inches or so already in bham when we left.
