I was in  the hospital last week and had to watch TV without the benefit of DVR. That means I had to watch commercials. That's when I realized we actually have Republicans on both sides of the ticket.

I was pointing out the irony of running as a Democrat in today's bizzaro world. The only hope one has is to lie and try to pass yourself off as a republican. Trust me, they couldn't have given me enough drugs to get me to believe anything in a Democrat political ad, but they certainly were giving me unprecedented levels of narcotics and at times I was still begging for more. And talking about irony, this was after a successful surgery that corrected the pre-op issues. I wonder what it would be like if he had screwed something up... Lol. I still recommend Dr. Theiss, he is not the first doctor I have left scratching their head wondering what happened. It is called PRACTICING medicine after all.

In fact I am going to do what another member recommended and vote the straight republican ticket. It still counts for Moore but I don't have to actually vote him directly. I vote the person not the party so I have never voted straight ticket before but I love this idea so shout out to whomever it was that first suggested it and sorry I can't remember who it was.

I did the same, vote for the Republican ticket and not mark Moore's name

To be sure, I asked the polls worker about it and he said it was certainly ok and he understood "where I was coming from"

Copout is right, especially for those living in counties where there was ONE thing on the ballot.

And even when there wasn't just one thing, a straight-ticket vote for Republican was a vote FOR the guy who thinks that America hasn't been great since slavery ended, and who thinks that every Amendment after 10 should be gone.

Glad the racist homophobe lost, and I'm glad his followers are unhappy about it. Because racists don't deserve to be happy.
