KY passed a law that in order to receive Medicaid you must work ( with minor exceptions); sure some lib Fed Judge in San Fran will try to void this; all the while the mom in Tampa with 17 kids is suing the State saying they dont give her enough $$ to support her & her kids; Calif has mud slides, earthquakes, fires, and calls for Federal Disaster $$--all the while disobeying Federal immigration laws--THATS MY RANT FOR THE WEEKEND--

Give me the name of a state that would not request federal help in a similar situation? 

Hell, the Chief of the Alabama Supreme Court defied the Supreme Court and was removed. Alabama has a history of defying the Federal Government. Alabama and the Right are always yelling about big government until there is a tornado or flood. You are just pissed because CA is a blue state.

Actually, Alabama and California have alot in common when it comes to defying the Feds and then asking for a handout.

This woman is 37 years old and has turned to three different men(one who is in prison) to father her children. Child welfare workers hope to have her in a six-bedroom house by the end of the week. She had been evicted by the Tampa Housing Authority where she owed more than $6000 and was found in a one room motel with her children with little food and dirty clothes. She "blamed" the government for not giving her enough food  and money to deal with her 15 children. The Welfare Agency paid the $6000 she owed in order to remove a five year ban that would allow her to move into a new home. While anyone with a heart wants to help people in need, I think we must agree that  our liberal approach to welfare has evolved into a system that "promotes" more "dependency"  on welfare rather than providing a system aimed at helping people escape the ravage of "poverty". Her situation came before a female Circuit Judge who reiterated to her that all she had ever been asked to do was to get a roof over her head that would allow her to move on and raise her children. When interviewed after the hearing the mother said the government had continously uprooted her children  and has been "heckling and harrassing her". There didn't seem to be any indication that she shared any responsibility for her current situation. In closing, are you saying that the people on the "left" are not yelling for their "share" of big government?

Culture of entitlement.  I wonder how many of her kids work and earn money so they can live?  Oh, that's right, if they earn any money, they'll get cut on their welfare..... Wouldn't want to do that.  I know a lot of working people that can't afford to buy a house - yet we should just rent a 6 bedroom for her so she has a place to live.  This is what is wrong in this country.

In your post on 1/13/2018, Subject: California, you make reference to California being a "blue" state. Well, it looks like the color of the state is changing drastically. California is now being called a S---Hole state as are many of its major cities, with San Francisco being among the worst. Apps are now available for the state and many of the major cities which show the concentration of "brown" areas which depict locations to avoid which contains human feces, needles, syringes, broken glass, etc. The locations show up on the maps in "brown". Cities are literally having to hose off their streets almost daily. City switch boards are flooded daily with calls complaining about this mess of S--T. Go California, Go DemocRATS!!
