McCabe is gone.  Now let's see what happens to Rosenstein, Strozk, Page, et al are next to fall.  I know, he just wants to spend more time with his family.....or he is resigning because of undisclosed health issues.......or he has become a distraction.....or he can no longer effectively serve given the current administration.....or the most likely reason, he wants to keep his pension before he is fired.

I think probably more than anything it's the $$$$$$$$ he's worried about, as if he should deserve anything for the "service" he has given to our country. Like Hillary and the others involved in their corrupt activities, they need to share cells together so their "secret society" can continue to concoct their "grandiose" plans. I have no sympathy for any of them. "Drain the Swamp".

He is leaving in mid march with his full pension. Will simply do what any prudent person would do working for Trump...take a full pension and go to work in private industry at a much higher salary. Sounds like even  an alt right peron would do if in a similar circumstance.

Andrew McCabe, the deputy director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, is stepping down effective Monday, NBC News reported. McCabe had been set to retire in March.

Yup GFY fake news about him leaving in March.  Nope left building today!  With pension starting in March.

Yeah Fish, when a lib decides its time to leave a gov't gig, it is a "prudent", "well thought out", "in the works for months" decision.  No big deal.  When a Trump staffer or cabinet member etc decides to leave for the same reason, it is a "cacophony of immense proportion", "Trump WH in chaos", "staffers cannot stomach the Trump leadership style" media ritual.  I am amazed that he gets up everyday and sees the diabolical double standard that exists and yet is overwhelming productive.

I just read that today was the first day he could go out on leave and still get his retirement. Why should someone guilty of espionage  of a presidential candidate and president-elect, personally o like higher charge of treason for all of them. But as. Always even while he is in prison for trying to thwart the people's will via the ballot box he will be drawing a fat check from those same taxpayers. If you are committing felonies while in office you shouldn't get a pension. Period.

ON the other hand, regardless of what he gets, it is disconcerting to find out that the FBI, who claims to be the honest broker, is full of bad actors.  WE can't trust our Justice Department and the Intel community talks out of both sides of their mouths.

His boss reads "the memo" this weekend, calls Mac to his office Monday morning and we have his walking papers before noon.

Does anyone else hear a swamp draining?

"Technically, he will remain an FBI employee for the next several weeks, but he has left the deputy director position and is not expected to return to work, these people said."

He is STILL an empoyee until his retirement date in March. He is using leave or vacation between now and March. Sounds prudent to me. In or out of the building...he is still an employee. Got it????

I can't understand why you get your FAKE NEWS from NBC. That is really a joke dude......

What's the big deal? The important thing is that the corruption that has been going on for the last eight years is finally coming to an end. The messages sent to him from Holder and Comey are disgraceful, praising him for his great "service" to the people of this country. One can only hope that there will be enough pressure brought to bear that will include the two of them in the overall "scandal" that almost succeeded in the election of Hillary as President. Where would America be today if Hillary had been elected President and our country's  "leadership" had continued with those who are being identified as "traitors"?

Great point!  The good news is that he is gone from his position of influence, no matter when he "officially" retires.  I hope they root out all of these people and send them packing, one way or another.  I don't want them in "my" government.

So as an employee he can come and go as he wants?  Nope, he got walked to the curb.  He is no longer the deputy director.  He is retired, just waiting on his sick/vacation days to complete to get his pension where he wants it.  That does not mean he is still an employee.

Give Goofy a break.....he assumes that a person is an employee if they are perp walked to the curb but allowed to take their PTO and vacation.  Just think about this, the guy leaves on Monday January 29th but has enough accrued vacation and PTO to get him to full retirement in March.  That's at a minimum 5 weeks and likely more.  So this guy has accrued over a month of time off and possibly two.

Maybe part of his "accrued" time is to reward him for all the hours he has worked in the "secret society".

having been mostly healthy and at the same company for 20 years - I have around 190 sick days I can apply toward my retirement, just not there yet with another 60 something in vacation that I carry each year.

Which comes up to about 50 weeks off at a 5 day work week - not quite a full year, so   If he can only get 2 months then he has either not been there long, or is already rolled much of his PTO accrued time to enhance his retirement.

As a federal employee of length - he can have up to 240 hours of vacation time saved that he can use or he can be paid for.   Federally employees don't get paid for their unused sick time at the end of a career.  By some formula, it is applied to the "years of service" on which the compentation is based, but it is not one for one.   He will get 50% of his base pay when they add up his highest 5 years of pay.  I don't know how old he is, but if he is under 55, 2% for every year under that will be taken away.  I don't know how many years of service he has, but if he is under the "new" system - FERS, he will get some combination of federal retirement, his TSP and SS.  Thats when one really wishes they had maxed out their TSP every year.

Well I must have been out of the corporate world for too long as I cannot imagine someone having accrued that much PTO and being allowed to use it rather than lose it.  No way could that work in the consulting world.

Cant take most of it off even if I wanted to  - Can just use about 60% of it to add to my years towards retirement still average of best 3 years in last 10.

any extra vacation over 60 rolls into sick.  forget where sick caps, newer hires do not get this package anymore for obvious reasons.

Good thing they don't count all the Company time you use to read and respond to the Forum. Your PTO days would be at -0.

You see Goofy, that's why you were always a drone and not a leader.  I judge people by their results and give them leeway to get their work done.  If phil can do his job and spend a few minutes each day refuting left wing nuts then more power to him.  It's all about results in the real world of business.

And it does not hurt that the boss approves of what I do and most of the time is laughing over my shoulder.  He thinks GFY is full of chit and I can not post most of what he says as that would most definatly get me dinged.

As I keep it up in one of my many monitors and can do more then one thing at a time and still watch for the insane GFY comments.  You think I spend hours researching crap to refute you when it only takes seconds a day.  Probably no more time then most people around here take in smoke breaks.

"As I keep it up in one of my many monitors " Man, multi monitors...you take this real serious. It is just a Forum dude. Tell your lady boss to stop hiding under your skirt and join the Forum. Offer to help her join and post until she is able to express herself.

Whick monitor are you reading this important post?????

"Our company is very successful in Texas and given the costs and regulatory burden have always struggled in California.  If we didn't have clients with projects there I would fire everyone and shut the office down.  Instead, I will make enough money in Texas to cover the fools in California that like living in a 3rd world state with nice weather."

Maybe Dude, those right wing employees in California are spending half their days checking and chatting on some lake Forum in California while you pay them and the business struggles. There are 78 lakes Forums in California.

I bet Phil can assist you in setting up a trap to catch them. After all, he has multi monitors checking the Forum. Probably one on the Left and one on the Right.

Your post reveals you are sadly away from the workplace for quite a while.  Everyone has multiple monitors now, plus their cell phone, plus their tablet.   That was the case even when I retired 10 years ago.

Fact is our folks in California work very hard but the environment just won't let them succeed.  Sort of like me trying to push over the Washington Monument.  I could try very hard, put everything I can into the task.....and I would fail.  That's what California is like.

I think a better analogy would be trying to get an intelligent answer from GFY then attempting to push over monuments - because given time or the right tools it can be done, not so sure about geting intelligence from GFY.

When he is down he runs back to puppets or misgendering people trying to be cute or insulting, but the truth is he is a plain stupid liberal.  He needs meds.

yes multiple monitors so I can program in one, read email in one blah blah blah.  We keep things moving here, you need to go take your metamucil, I think your backing up and full of chit.

All GFY needs is a etch-a-sketch so that when he gets mad and shakes it would reboot.
