As many of us with a brain suspected, in fact the FISA court based their decision to surveil the Trump campaign based on opposition research paid for by Hillary Clinton and the DNC.  It is no wonder Democrats were so opposed to its release.  And also why they are running up and down K Street with their hair on fire.  In a normal world this alone would be sufficient cause to fire Mueller and end the investigation.  But this is not a normal world.  Some highlights or more accurately lowlights from the memo.

* The Steele dossier formed an essential part of the initial and all three renewal FISA applications against Carter Page.

* Andrew McCabe confirmed that no FISA warrant would have been sought from the FISA Court without the Steele dossier information.

* The political origins of the Steele dossier were known to senior DOJ and FBI officials, but excluded from the FISA applications.

* DOJ official Bruce Ohr met with Steele beginning in the summer of 2016 and relayed to DOJ information about Steele's bias. Steele told Ohr that he, Steele, was desperate that Donald Trump not get elected president and was passionate about him not becoming president.

In a normal world every American would be deeply disturbed at the concept of a Presiden weaponzing federal agencies for political benefit....but we don't live in a normal world.  And recall, the DOJ/FBI have already stated that the facts in the memo are correct but are concerned about omissions.  Maybe those will be addressed by Schiff's memo which I believe should also be released.

It's only her brain that is 107 years old as evidenced by her having referred to Trump as Bush for the 6th time.  What is even more incredible is that the dossier was the primary so-called evidence they presented to the FISA court to get the warrants.  And they used it repeatedly.  So basically the initial surveillance didn't generate even enough evidence to get a subsequent warrant.  And not just once but three times!

Time to clean house at Justice and FBI.  Everyone with a "titled" position in the Headquarters, needs to go.  Same at Justice.  

My feeling is that they ought to realease all the memos, and all of the emails to the public, and let the public decide what is relevant.

If you think any of this is funny.  Now Dems are claiming that Papadopolous was the real reason for the FISA warrant.  So instead of a phony dossier it was some drunken hearsay?!?!?  You could not get a novel with this much stupidity published.  I can see the editor now,  "So wait, you are telling me the FISA warrant is being issued because some no name short time dude in a fit of drunken stupor allegedly told someone something?!?!?  I'm sorry but you are going to have to rewrite this entire chapter and come up with something that actually makes sense! Now get to work!"

At least we now know why McCabe left early.....and this doesn't even address the pending IG report which I suspect is going to be even more damning.  I think if I were Rosenstein I would be working on my resume post haste.

Totally agree! The DemocRATS have used every play in the book to try and keep "names" of those guilty traitors from remaining under cover. Treat them the same as any one of us would be treated if we were being investigated for like charges(we would not have the option to have our names "redacted" during an ongoing investigation).
