At one point they were behind by 15 points and it has now flipped to positive territory.  However, as much as I like these results I am still skeptical about the chances in November.  I think a much more important metric is voter enthusiasm, and that is clearly on the side of Democrats.  Unless the conservatives and right-leaning independents come out in droves the House will definitely flip and we will waste the next two years on impeachment.  If you look at the modern history, Americans tend to like divided government so the excesses of either party are tempered.  Of course with the stupid and arcane rules of the Senate, we have effectively divided govt now.

Agree about history of midterms but I think there is a difference here. Trump has driven the left stream media so crazy they have overplayed their hand and shed any plausibility of being unbiased and are comming unglued with the attacks on the President. The dems also have been catering to their leftist base and that is a tactical mistake. In all polling the independents are firmly behing the GOP. My concern is the grass root dems are more savy than the DC dems and are running more moderate looking candidates, many with military backgrounds in congressional races. I think it will come down to messaging and tying all Dems to the votes that they took without a single one siding with tax reform.
