Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) will announce a plan for the federal government to guarantee a job paying $15 an hour and health-care benefits to every American worker “who wants or needs one,” embracing the kind of large-scale government works project that Democrats have shied away from in recent decades.

So everyone who wants or needs a job gets a $15 per hour job with benefits.. period.

Old Bernie is so economically illterate it is simply astounding.  When has this been tried?  Many, many times.  When has it worked?  Never.  But don't let reality get into the way of another socialist wet dream.  It's no wonder the guy has never held a real job in his entire life.  Who would hire someone who is so dumb?  But hey, he's got multiple homes so maybe he's onto something.  Offer to reward Peter at the expense of Paul and you can always count on Peter' support.....until you finally run out of other people's money.  Bastiat said it best.  Government is that fiction by which everyone lives at the expense of everyone else.

As soon as they got their $15 an hour, they'd say they need $20 with health benefits and a pension plan.  

As soon as I hear these schemes, I always want to ask what they are going to cut, to get this money?  Today, China and Russia agreeed to cooperate militarily to challenge the U.S., so shall we cut defense?

Show me where  the majority of your fellow deplorables earn more than $7.25 per hour in  the red states down south???? Education rankings in AL, LA, and MS are at or near the bottom of the barrel. The $15 per hour will help those deplorable in the 3 states to earn enough to pay the bills and save alittle for their future. Why do you want to keep Trump supporters at $7.25???

Check the education rankings...start from the top 1. MA and they are Blue. Or, save time and scroll to the bottom and work your way back as it is easier to find your Red States.

Take a drive around town and look around at MickeyD's, car washes, lawn mower drivers, etc.....what do you see......???  Yep!  All dimokraps......that's the minimum wage jobs dimokraps qualify for.  Dead end jobs for the dead end dimokraps.  To get a true picture of whether dimokraps or Republicans would benefit from Bernie's commie plans, you have to look at demographics of the voters.  GOOF-IDIOT, I'm right and you're shufflin' your feet.

Why should the poorly educated and unskilled be paid $15 an hour?  The idea is that as you become more skilled and educated, you earn more money.  If we make the $7.25 an hour jobs better paying, where is the incentive for these people to better themselves.  Don't you think that is just accepting a "dumbed down" society?  If you aren't educated and you have no skils and no interest in acquiring either, then you are condemned to a life of bills and living paycheck to paycheck.  Seems fair to me.  Race has nothing to do with it.

Goofy doesn't believe in the markets deciding what is reasonable compensation for a given job based on the skills required and the availability of qualified labor.  This is all a vote-buying gimmick and we all know from where it's been tried that artificially raising labor costs results in all sorts of negative consequences.  Lost jobs, closed businesses, replacement with technology because it now makes financial sense to do so and so on.  They very people they are trying to help are harmed by these economic illiterate and stupid ideas. 

And yet they continue to vote for them because of the promises and not the reality of how these policies actually do far more harm than good.  If you want an example, try to find a restaurant in SeaTac, WA.  Most of them closed or relocated as a result of the $15 per hour minimum wage.  And those that stayed have raised prices and no longer let the servers keep the tips.

Chances are unless you are in congress most people could not afford to eat at a place with base pay @ $15/hr.
