For the life of me I can't figure out why this is news (actually I can).  Lobbyists have been selling access to government contacts since the beginning of the Republic.  Over the years I've paid tons of money to lobbyists because it is the only way to get access to the right people in government to get them to make the right decision.  Made me sick to do so but if you want to play in that arena it's the price of admission.  Why the govt media is acting like this is some revelation is just another reason why so few actually trust them.  They run the Democrat party.

Sounds more like a typical Republican bagman. A lobbyist is a bagman who has registered as a lobbyist.
