Stay inside, watch the Indy 500, then the Coca Cola 600, watch the NBA, post on the forum, and chill out. This is from Coast Guard Reg 5743.BF.012.432A. It was a change from the original 5743.BF.012.432. To read the entie reg, it is necessary to enter a Coast Guard ID.

Yes, rain headed our way.  Possible spin up tonadoes.  Just hoping the rain doesn't beat down my oak leaf and broad leaf hydrangea which have just started blooming.

They are lowering it in preparation for the floods that are coming. Good water management that nobody wants to give them credit for.

Maybe in your neck of the woods, but right now it is where it normally is here.  Perhaps I'll see it later - i'm pretty far from the dam.

OK, I will spell it out for you - I DID NOT SEE ANY CHANGE in the LEVEL OF THE WATER, based on where it normal is on my dock.  I"m sorry you found my comment stupid - I guess we can't all be as smart as you.  I didn't go out and measure it.  If they draw down the water starting at the dam, I don't think it all goes down all at once, even in all places.  But if I am not correct about that, then I bow to your superior knowledge.  AGAIN,  I DID NOT NOTICE ANY CHANGE IN THE WATER LEVEL EYE JUDGING IT FROM WHERE IT NORMALLY MEETS MY DOCK.  So I SAW NO INDICATION THAT THE WATER LEVEL HAD CHANGED, based on them drawng down the water level for the storm.

Hope I clarified my "stupid" statement.  Bless your little heart.
