They may be using this opportunity to cancel. I watched a couple of episodes to see what all the fuss was about and it was terrible. The writing was bad and Rosanne could hardly deliver a line without laughing.

Oh no what will people watch now... maybe they can take care of Oldermann tweets next.  To be honest if ABC just went off the air it would not bother me at all.

Didnt watch it - but lets look at it a different way.  I think MM was making the point that when you run your mouth / take a knee and it reflects on your parent company they have the right to do something... now what was it......

Isn't it amazing that an NFL player who takes a knee during the National Anthem is deserving of losing his job and even citizenship according to our current president while a rightwing comic who grabs her crotch while "singing" the anthem is praised by that president for being "one of us"?  I'm sure lots of the regulars on this forum will be heaping praise on Ms Barr and condemning the action of a private business doing what it considers the right thing to do, as being just another example of censorship by the Hollywood/New York MSM.

I'm neutral.  Did not watch the old show and did not plan to watch new one.  Not my idea of good humor.  Is there a show that gets anywhere near the caliber of Seinfeld?

Her tweet was atrocious!  She should probably go on tour with Michelle whatever her name is at WHCD

I'm with you Archie.  Never liked the lady.  Bad humor, not funny.

Now they can make room for return of Last Man Standing, which I have never watched as well.

Find it funny that they would reboot a show knowning who was the main character.  Somehow they just did not know who she was?  Many stupid things in her past to find offense with.

Why do entertainment people think they should not be held accountable for the things they say?  I can think of a number shows that should be cancelled.  Yes there is freedom of speech  - you can be a crude as you wish.  But there should also be a self imposed level of decency.  

I have never watched Rosanne Barr, becasue I have never cared for her humor.    What she tweeted stepped over the line,  just like the Kathy Griffin thing slipped over the line.
