As of the close of trading today the Dow Industrials is down for 2018.  Actually l agree with all of you that it has very little to do with Trump but more with world economic and political turmoil, especially Europe (today it was Italy).  My only problem is understanding how from 2009 - 2016 similar downturns were ALWAYS Obama's doing.  Now, how about those gas prices?

Yes, exactly...just as it was during the Obama years. Of course most of this forum, based on their moans and groans felt very differently from 09-16 when "oblamer" was the direct cause of anything, and I mean anything bad that happened!!  It's called hypocrisy.

So what you are saying it is business as usual - everyone used to blame Obama and now everyone blames Trump.  But the truth is that most of the markets up and down have much more to do with global influences than anyone in the WH. Yeah, sometimes it reacts, but most of the time it has nothing to do with the U.S.

I completely agree with most of what you say Hound and that is exactly what I said in my post. I do not agree that ''now everybody is blaming Trump''.  That is certainly not true on this forum where almost nobody, you INCLUDED, ever attributes anything negative on Trump.  Almost all on this forum, you EXCLUDED, consistantly blamed everthing bad on Obama.  I repeat, it is called hypocrisy!
