Today ''Our Dear Leader'', who has spent the last week saying he could not change a policy by himself, changed the policy by himself!  He did so when it became obvious that the policy was about as popular as a keg full of dead puppies with everybody except his most extreme fans.  Of course all his most extreme fans on this forum are now marveling at what a brilliant strategic and heroic move he has made.

To be more specifc, Trump didn't just change the policy, he caved into the pressure and changed the policy. Maybe, in the future he will think before he acts or find another advisor other than alt right Steve Miller. Miller has made Trump look like an idiot with this and the ban on refugees.

Well since Schumer announced that he has no plan to help anyone, can not put any new laws together to stop this correctly he loaned Trump the Obama pen.

Personally I think he should have enforced the law as written and defined by a judge.  Because as we have seen with EO that they are not "law" and can change with administrations.

There are already lawsuits being filed because it does not go as far as you would want with lawlessness, open borders, catch and release.

Unless you have been in a coma for the last week, your assessment is a crock!

1/  He did in fact claim for days the only congress not him could end the separations

2/  He did in fact with the stroke of a pen end the policy he claimed for days he could not legally end

3/  His action (or lack thereof) in fact had the disapproval of 66%/67%/66% respectively in 3 polls. Approval ranged from 17% to 26%.  Now an admission...there is one statement of ''opinion'' (non fact)  in my post...I really have no idea of what the popularity and approval rating of a keg of dead puppies is.

4/  His action which in fact put to a lie his previous claim is in fact being hailed by his minions on this forum as demonstrating his prowess

If you have not just emerged from a coma, do you still dismiss these truths as a ''crock''?

May I suggest you spend time reviewing the Flores Settlement.  Law put into effect roughly 30 years ago.  Trump can't overrule this law with a stroke of the pen.  His EO will be challenged in court.  Also please note the number of Democratic presidents who either fully supported this law that Trump was only enforcing, or actually made it more onerous.  (OBAMA).  You seemingly had no problem with the law during Obama's presidency, did you?  Why not?  It's all about the children, right?  The living conditions these children were placed in under Obama and Clinton were far worse that those today.  Do you actually only gain your insight from one media source and repeat as you are told to do, or might you consider broadening your horizons with actual non biased fact.  I can help you with the latter.

I am aware of the court decision and agree court Action is probable.  This fact is not directly related to my post.  My comments were pointing out the facts currently under discussion...Trump through his AG instituted a “new policy” which old Jeff was happy to trumpet! When the new policy proved to be a crap storm Trump initially claimed it was not a policy but enforcement of the law instituted by Democrats.  When that BS didn’t fly he said he had no authority to change the policy which Sessions had spouted over and over.  Finally when the heat was really turned up he caved while denying or “forgetting” most of his previous statements on the subject.  

If you are yourself unwilling to recognize and admit the facts due to your own bias, then please refrain from bitching about where l get my information!
