How sad that Scott Pruitt resigned. Since when does ethics matter? Dr. Price from Georgia and now Pruitt from Oklahoma both swap dwellers were forced out. How sad.

Wheeler will keep the reform of EPA going, and the moaning and whining from the left will continue.

Iran has accused Israel of stealing their clouds, so there may be bigger things on the environmental front than Pruett.

So sad that to get the Iran deal that not only did we have to pay them pallets of assorted bills.  It has been reported that Obama was attempting to get it wire transfered and the banks did not want to violate law so told him to pound sound.  In addition to the Cash for prisioner exchange now we get to find out about the other part of the alleged deal where thousands of Iranians got US citizenship.  While snopes lists is as unproved and others sites are claiming that it did not happen - IRAN itself is stating that it did happen.

Ayatollah Archie will assurdly say it never happened and post make the claim that it is only Fox news, that all the state media is claiming there is no evidence and that Obama was the most uncorrupt regime the US has ever had.

Now that it looks like GFY is back from his vacation the lull will be filled again with insanity.

At least he and Price had the decency to resign.  Believe me, he will be replaced with someone who will continue his very proper and positive changes at EPA.  And Wheeler (the acting administrator) is even more determined to fix EPA.  Enjoy the scalp because it is a pyrric victory.

Come on Phil, defend Pruitt. Iran and Obama have nothing to do wth ethcally challenged Pruitt. We could go back to the real crook Nixon or Reagan and  Iran Contra. Defend Pruitt or just be honest ad admit it was his time to go.

Looks like the Pee Pee boys Price and Pruitt were bad examples of how Trump vets his staff.

I was glad to see him go, because as a taxpayer, I didn't like his spending habits.  But I have to defer to others who know more about the EPA than I do, as to the good and the bad of the changes being made there.

Tell you what - I will happily defend Pruitt - but before I do please go over the 44 Obama era RPA scandals that the media ignored.  to make it easier for you I will agian include the link.

https://lists.grabien.com/list-epa-scandals-under-obama-administration

Now since you want me to defend Pruitt / Trump EPA - I assume you would be more then willing to do the same for the last president that you hold to such a high standard.

To help you further so you do not have to research each item as much as you would have to many of the listed items you can click on the 1st column it will give you much more informaiton then the 1st sentence.

Now please feel free to answer the charges leveled at the Obama administration and I will be happy to do the same for the Trump EPA.

https://www.axios.com/go-deeper-the-scandals-that-led-to-scott-pruitts-resignation-5e7778c7-3b61-4188-92e1-5d45dc32a1fd.html

now lets use the axios list of scandals since there almost of lefty as you.

Pruitt's laundry list of scandals:  I have marked my responses in bold to make sure that you can locate them.  With your age I am sure your eyesight is going just like your sanity.

  1. He reportedly ordered raises for two aides, despite the White House rejecting his request. He later said he was unaware of the raises.  requested a raise for people who work for you, sounds like something a boss normally does- may or may not have lied about it.
  2. He spent $3 million of taxpayer funds on an extensive security detail, which was three times bigger than his predecessor's.Considering that the left is growing more and more violent - probably justified.
  3. Biometric locks were installed on his office doors for $5,700, Politico reports.
    see #2
  4. He came under fire for renting a bedroom near Capitol Hill from a lobbyist for $50 a night. He told the Washington Examiner: "I'm dumbfounded that that's controversial."rented a room - holy cow - lock him up.
  5. The agency installed a $43,000 private phone booth in his office.with all the leaks - probably necessary.
  6. He has spent over $105,000 on first-class flights, per Politico, citing "threats to his safety."see #2
  7. He had a tendency to want to use flashing lights and sirens on his motorcade to cut through D.C. traffic — including at least one trip to a popular French restaurant, Le Diplomate.
Ok This one is just a flat a$$hat move.
  8. A former Comcast lobbyist helped the agency set up a trip to Morocco in December, which cost $100,000, despite original claims that it would cost $40,000.
is the problem here that the costs were higher or that it was by a lobbyist?
  9. Pruitt accepted seats at a University of Kentucky basketball game for him and his son from a billionaire coal executive.
wow, again - holy cow string him up 2 tickets was sure to cause him to create favorable coal legislation when he blows that for a meal.
  10. His staff spent over $1,500 on fountain pens, CNN reported, and more than $1,600 on journals.
Probably had to get some that worked since the previous administration went with green pens.  Again high, but were they gifts to be given out, were these for office work?
  11. His director of scheduling and advance, Millan Hupp, says Pruitt asked her to perform personal tasks, which included a request for a Trump hotel mattress.
well that is just wierd about the mattress, and you should not have employees doing personal tasks, I wonder how many in government positions would have a job if this standard of asking to perfom personal tasks was enforced across the board.
  12. He told his allies in the conservative movement that Hupp lied in her testimony and could not be trusted implying that "she should not be hired at their institutions," reports the Daily Beast.
Wow - so he did not give her a glowing recommendation, but since he did ask her to do personal tasks which is a chit thing to do.
  13. He tried to use his position to get his wife a job as a Chick-fil-A franchisee, per the Washington Post.
wow - I can see the problem here - Chick-fil-A, damn him.
  14. Pruitt requested that his 24/7 security detail help him find "a favorite moisturizing lotion" offered at Ritz-Carlton hotels, and retrieve his dry cleaning without him, the Washington Post reported.
I think this was covered under douche moves above and he should not be having employees doing personal jobs.
  15. He sent employees during the work day to "pick up his favorite snacks and treats," per the Daily Beast, including particular finger foods, Greek yogurt, and more.
    see #14
  16. He enlisted the help of a top aide to find his wife a job by reaching out to Republican donors, the Washington Post reported. The Post later reported that the aide was told to find a job which offered a salary topping $200,000.
Again wonder how many people would be in local/city/state/federal positions if they did not use their positions to help spouses.
  17. He put the former treasurer of his political action committee, Elizabeth Beacham White, in charge of the EPA's Office of the Executive Secretariat, which oversees FOIA requests, Politico reported.
Wow he hired someone he knew to do a job, lock him up.

So from what I can see he needed to go because he was a rat bastard who liked to use people under him for personal tasks, he rented a room and got some tickets from people, hired someone to do a job that he knew, tried to get jobs for people he knew one at chick-fil-a and did not give a former employee a glowing recommendation.

So yes, he needed to go, but unlike you and Axios I do not weigh some of these as heavily as you would want the standard applied.  Some of these in my opinion are probably "business as usual" for many government employees.  No, It does not make it right.  But, it also does not raise it to the lock him up, string him up or fire him and never let him work anywhere ever again.

So now that I have answered these  - please make sure to go through the ones from the Obama administration that I linked above since you believe his administration is scandal free and above reproach.  For some reason I do not feel that you will put the same effort in to "defend it"

Since you apparently have discussed oral sex, cigars into vaginas and all of the scandals I listed from Obama's EPA with your grandkids you must approve of what I disapproved up for 8 years of Oblama.

I do not expect you to answer with much more then either a puppet, get back to work, boss lady or "I dont undestand words"

You seem to miss the point that Trump ran to drain the Obama swamp. It was his basic platform. Yet, his appointments are The Swamp with Pruitt and Price at the top.

You can write all you want about Obama but you need to remember Trump ran to DRAIN THE SWAMP and on that he is one Great, Tremendous failure....

If it came to that, but I have no desire at this point to see Trump impeached.  He's led a colorful life, but he's doing a good job so far.

I agree fully - but the crazy left think if they can get rid of Turmp, Pence, speaker of the house and a bunch more they might be able to overturn the election.

Got it, since Obama did not run on anti-government corruption his administration gets a pass on all of the issues that you approve of.

So by your comment and your lack of defense I can only guess you discussed Obama era corruption with your grandkids and approve of it, as long as it is by a dem who did not "run on drain the swamp"

That is even less of a response then even I was expecting from you.
