While no one would ever accuse the Clintons of having any sense of decency or self awareness the latest tweet from her made me sick to my stomach.  Regarding the kerfluffle about Trump allegedly wanting to send our former ambassador to be interviewed by the Russians, she had the unbelievable nerve to tweet the following, and I quote, "To see the White House even hesitate to defend a diplomat is deeply troubling."

Try telling that to the family of Christopher Stevens.  This woman lacks any measure of morality and is likely a true sociopath.  That she thought it was a good idea to post this tweet and someone didn't stop her says a lot.  Just sickening.............

I assume she is just jumping on the bandwagon, trying to stay relevant.  In fact, it was announced today that the U.S. will not permit it.  When Sara Sanders seemed to waffle on it yesterday, I assumed that they hadn't issued their formal statement about it.  Today they did.

Actually, it was mostly Stevens fault that he died.  He was in a place where he shouldn't have been, because he believed that Libyans would never turn on him and he paid for it with his life.  Now all the lies and cover up after the fact were  all Hilary and Obama.

The thing about it that bothered me the most was they ignored the pleas for help and that for sure falls squarely on the shoulders of Obama and Hillary.  They were more concerned with the reelection campaign than saving the lives of Stevens and the others.

I have to say that even if he had gotten additional security for the Embassy, his death would still have occurred becasue he was at a CIA station and not on Embassy propety.  It is a shame that Congress routinely cuts money for Embassy security in the State Department budget.  And Stevens was overly optimistic about the future of Libya.  On the whole, I cannot condemn Obama and Hilary for what happened in Benghazi.  I blame the for everything that came after - the lies and the cover up, but the actual attack and Stevens death were just one of those regretful things that happen in an unstable country.  Stevens took a risk, because he miscalculated.

Hound,  I don't think you'd be so sanguine about their role in Steven's death if you looked at the timeline from when they called for help and when they were killed.  There was plenty of time to get resources to them but for some reason those requests were denied.  Someone made that call or were AWOL when that decision needed to be made.  That falls squarely on their shoulders.  Yes, Stevens made lots of mistakes.  And yes, he might have died anyway.  But we will never know because their please for help were ignored until it was too late.  That's on Hillary and Obama and that is why her tweet is so disgusting.

i will say I don't know why their pleas for help were not acted on immediately.  One of those times when a failure to make an immediate decision was not a good idea.  I am assuming that they were concerned about the host country's reaction - remember there was all that consideration whether the military should be plain clothed or in uniform and that delayed he response?  I will blame them for that.
