No Hound, the truth is she did not get ''out in front'' of her boss.  She delivered exactly what the ''idiot'' initially instructed her and other surrogates to say.  Later the ''idiot'' changed his mind (nothing new here...he probably got new marching orders or a threat to release the videos from Moscow) but the ''idiot'' failed to get the new version to his mouthpieces!  ''The Trump Administration is running like a well oiled machine.'' 

Please face reality Hound, this ''idiot'' is a 150 car train wreck and you know it.  Please stop apologizing for the stupidity of a man who has never once in his life even considered apologizing for ANYTHING!

I'm sorry I don't agree with you about our President.  I thought he could have done a better job at the G7, and I think he could have done a better job in Helsinki, but I am not ready to call  him an "idiot".  Other Presidents, yes, even "golden child"  Obama, have done a lousy job in the international arena.

I'm not sure what you think Trump should be apologizing for.  When did any President stand up and say "I'm sorry"?  You have to have a strong ego to take on the job of President; you have to believe that you know better than everyone else what needs to be done.  Trump is hardly alone in that.

No, I wouldn't.  I would say that his perception of the truth and other people's perception of the truth is sometimes different.  

Trump is an extrovert, so whatever pops in his head is what comes out of this mouth at that time.  It isn't necessarily what he believes.  Extroverts think out loud.  So what you hear first is not their considered opinion.  Whereas Obama is an introvert, and he will think long and hard before he offers his thoughts.  Neither one are wrong - it's just the way they are.  Joe Biden is also an extrovert.

Oh, Hound, I thought I'd never post here again as I know my opinion and others differ and opinions are opinions and they cannot and likely won't be changed (and that's OK). But facts are facts, and they are not opinions. Really...you don't think Trump lies? He went around Europe stating that his father was born in Germany (google this...he did not only say it once). He was born in NYC. Trump stated that Korean War veterans' parents wanted their remains returned to the USA. REALLY? Parents of Korean War veterans? How old must they be? Hound...I often look to you as a reasoned person that is contrary to my viewpoint, but I like to hear yours and try to give your opinions weight. But you have really just lost me when you stated you don't think he lies. Is it Trump's 'perception' that his father was born in Germany? Is it a 'perception' that parents are alive that want remains returned. I could just go on and on. Please...google 'Trump lies'. There are so many that your head will spin. Look at many sites if you think you have hit a liberal site and you don't like it. Keep looking. I don't know why he would say his father was born in Germany - perhaps he meant his father's people.  But while it is a "lie" per se, is it an important lie? No, not really.  People say a lot of things that are sorta true, but not factually correct.  

As far as Helsinki, I don't believe that he made a slip of the tongue.  I don't know why he seems to feel like he has to pander to Putin.  It personally hurt my feelings to hear him condemn our Intelligence Community, because I worked with so many intel folks in my job.  The leadership not withstanding, those people really work hard putting together the pieces to understand the whole.  It just reminded me of the Neo-cons under George Bush (43) who didn't like that intelligence reports because it didn't support their beliefs, so formed their own intelligence group to cherry pick the the things that supported their desire to invade Iraq.  I'm at a loss to explain why Trump would want to take Putin's word over that of our own people.  (I can only speculate that there is something in Putin that he admires, and makes him want to be his friend).  

But as I said, I think Trump is an extrovert and what comes out of his mouth is what he is thinking  and may not be his true belief.  He is not a seaoned politician, so he doesn't mince words.  I'm sure that this is the way he operates in his life in his companies and people just accept it; but, he's having a harder time with the public at large.  People don't like his style. All politicians lie, but some do it more smoothly than others.  He's not a statesman.  I'm willing to give him his 4 years and see where we end up.  Trump has a strong need to be accepted and liked and I think if he felt that, he might be a bit different and not so defensive - because the "lies" seem to occur when he is being defensive.  

As I have said before, I am conservative on most issues (but middle of the road conservative) and liberal on other issues.  It's not clear to me who I might vote for in 2020, depending on the field.

23. Deficit went down by $2.3T by 2013 when it had gone up by $5.9T
24. The sequester was not my idea
25. The Sandy Hook shooter used a fully automatic weapon
26. Doctors order tonsillectomies to make more money
27. I believe in free markets
28. John Kerry was not on his yacht when the regime change in Egypt happened
29. Obamacare didn't hurt the job market
30. I did not claim ISIS was the JV team
31. No terror attacks on the U.S. during his term in office

I could go on.  But notice what is important about all these lies is most of them actually harmed the American people.

Keep in mind for GFY to admit that Obama lied, then he also has to admit by his own posts, words and standards then Obama was also a failure.  

Trump, lies when he wants for whatever reason,  just as the golden child, big eared, Kenyan did, just as Potato Head Bush did, Just as (fill in the blank of whatever politician).

What is funny is watching the people who dismissed 8 years of lies while worshiping Oblamer suddenly find others lies to be so horrible while still standing up for Oblamer.

Obama 31 lies over 8 years...4 per year. Trump 2029 false things over 18 months.......Defend Trump as Obama is history. Just as Bush, Clinton, Bush 41 with Read My Lips and the Right's favorite President Nixon.  They are all history. FYI...Trump is the President. Hmmm.... a politician lying.  What a revelation.  Thanks for that news flash Goofy.  I suppose later you will tell us 2+2=4 and act like its earth shattering news.  Oh I know, the sun rises in the east and sets in the west!!!!  OMG, none of us ever knew that. 

I am not going to defend lying but I will differentiate between lies that politicians tell that matter and those that don't.  And on that score Trump doesn't hold a candle to Obama.  I wish politicans wouldn't lie but that's like wishing for world peace or coexistence.  That wish and $6 will get you a latte at Starbucks.
