among their many responsibilities ( and i speak from several years self employed experience & business teaching at 2 universities); just  a few are: (1) equitible treatment , safe & responsible working environment for all employees; (2) fiduciary responsibility to maximize shareholder wealth without comprimising ethics, all within legal limits of course, and fulfilling the Company mission statement;just look at your investments increase in value since november 2016;

So far Trump has , in my opinion accomplished more in 1 1/2 years as CEO of the USA , in the midst of extreme harrassment, negativism,  & an uncooperative Congress , than any president in my lifetime, with maybe--just maybe,  Ronald Reagan; Employment at record high for all ethnic groups & genders, GDP 4.1%, -restoring  respect among allies- put AMERICA first & dont be a patsy---(running this place like a business & not a dispensary sacred cow programs--my only concern is at some point, he must put some emphasis on deficit reduction ); , its about time we had a real CEO in the Whgite House;

you may not like his hair style, his tweets, his love life PRIOR to becoming CEO, etc. but as  CEO of the good old US of A, in my book he's a winner & it's past time AMERICA had a winner in the White House--in June 1999--John kennedy Jr. ( democrat ) said: 'if my dear friend DT ever decided to sacrifice his fabulous lifestyle to become President, he would be an unstoppable force for ultimate justice that both Democrats & republicans would celebrate'" -sadly there are some who want to object to Everything the man does, no matter if its in the best interests of the USA--& I  think he has foregone a salary for all this -how many CEO's have done this? certainly not Tim Cook, Zuckerburg, BEZOS, Jamie Daimon- ??

Great post that substantiates what President Trump has actually done for America in only eighteen months of his Presidency with nothing but obstruction from Democrats and the news media. Who can devise a way to get John Kennedy Jr's "QUOTE" broadcast over the major broadcast media? Also, add to that, find a way for that "quote" to to be printed on the front page of every major newspaper. It is "past" time for the American people to know the "actual" damage sustained by our country over the last several years, particularly the eight years under Obama who added 10 trillion dollars(yes I said trillion) to the National Debt during his eight years in office. What if we gave every member of Congress a copy of the "quote" and ask them to share it with their constituents. Even better when Congress is in session ask each member to read the "quote" during the time they are on the taxpayers "dime".                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Just think where America would be today if what President Trump has done in eighteen monts had been allowed to grow during Obama's eight years. It is appalling how much the average worker has sacrificed in the way of wages and other benefits that could have been realized if only the American ingenuity could have been unleashed during the last several years.

Why Kennedy made the statement....Trump was an early supporter of Universal Health Insurance which the Kennedy family also supported.....

The billionaire’s 2000 book The America We Deserve makes a strong pitch for universal health care.

"I’m a conservative on most issues but a liberal on this one," Trump wrote. "We should not hear so many stories of families ruined by health care expenses. We must not allow citizens with medical problems to go untreated because of financial problems or red tape."

When he turned to how the country might achieve universal coverage, Trump focused like a laser beam on a Canadian-style, single-payer plan. He said it would eliminate many billions of dollars of overhead.

"The Canadian plan also helps Canadians live longer and healthier than America," he wrote. "We need, as a nation, to reexamine the single-payer plan, as many individual states are doing."

And like any good CEO when he examined the costs and the problems with it and he changed his views.  What a concept!  That's the difference right there.  Liberals or progressives or whatever you want to call yourselves instead of the socialists you are will never learn.  They double down on bad ideas and are OK with making things worse as long as it doesn't demand that they use facts, logic and reason.  I saw a great line by a former liberal responding to the irrationale thoughts of a millennial.  He said when he was young he used to think like that....and by think he meant "not think".  Our school system has all but eliminated the concept of critical thinking.  Examination of the facts and reality and using that as a guide to beliefs instead of emotion.

The point of the post was why Kennedy showed support for Trump. We all know that CEO Trump can change...hourly for Trump. Not the way a true CEO operates. At least, I hope you don't.

He might not be changing so hourly as you imagine, just seeing a bigger picture than some of the rest of us.  The man has been there, done that, and like to Git R Done.  Now that is a little more difficult when you have to work around Dems, MS Media, and GOPs who a hell bent on seeing that he does not succeed (unsuccessfully so far I might add).

Now on Health Care, has he really changed his mind that better coverage and health care is a tremendous goal for our country?  He wants to get rid of the Disaster that occurred under his predecesser, Repeal and REPLACE (hey I can caps like the Donald).  He always states he wants better health care.  Would be great to get rid of the disaster and see what might be a good replacement, but I reiterate the difficulty above.

No I get that but my point is that changing your views on important things like universal health care.  I could care less if he changes his mind often about unimportant stuff.  Kennedy, Jr. would be singing a different tune today or he'd be drummed out of the Dem party.  It's easy to say that when it's unthinkable or extremely unlikely.  But remember, Trump was a Democrat back then.
