OK...I am SO NOT trying to start something, but I have never understood why anyone would want a stereo on their boat. One is out on the lake...away from those audio and visual distractions and into something totally wonderful. Why blast music? Plus that noise carries over the water so why offend others? I don't get it. I know it's your business, but I just don't know why anyone would want this.

i have to put on my noise killers most weekends due to the 20,000 + decibel levels on boats whizzing by--maybe restrictor volume controls ???

When we are anchored and floating we like to listen to music.  It's loud enough for us to hear but not a distraction to others.  I do dislike the boats that blast their music while underway.  Of course we only listen to good stuff like classic rock, southern rock and some occasional country.  No rap or hip hop or whatever they call it.
