we stopped doing business with them becuse they treat women like garabage. 

Went to pick up a boat and the man said the owner told him when he found out it was me and not my husband that and I quote

"I aint letting no woman ride off pulling one of my boats" 

once I let them know that we would pull our business and that I have been driving and backing boats for longer than my husband and that I pull much much bigger boats with MY truck than that little 24' pontoon he was sending with me. Needless to say I got the boat and we no longer work with them on selling their boats. As a business owner myself and being a woman I can not belive I had to stand there for 40 mins trying to get a boat hooked up to My Own truck (not my husbands) simply because I am woman. Unbelievable!!!

My wife had a similar experience with a Firestone dealer in downtown  Montgomery several years ago.  Needless to say We will never use any products by firestone nor visit a firestone dealer for any reason.   This happened twenty years ago.

Well, I bought a new pontoon from poor house outlet in Jackson gap and found the folks there very helpful and knowledgeable about Avalon boats.  I met the new technician who explained quite a bit of the advantages of the Honda Engine.  They found the boat we wanted from the Talladega location and bent over backward to accommodate my needs.  They are delivering the boat to the real island area where I reside and will help get the boat to the mandatory 20 day check by picking up the boat, servicing it, and delivering it back.  

Sounds to me like a group in Jackson Gap to establish themselves as a leader in customer service.  I’m convinced.  Thanks for the feedback from this thread!
