Gee whiz. This is starting to sound familiar. Anonymous, unproveable allegations of sexual misconduct hurled at judge kavanaugh at the last minute before the vote. The accuser doesnt remember where the party took place, when the party took place, who else attended, how she got to the party, or how she got home from the party. But she remembers clearly that kavanaugh assaulted her.

The democrat playbook is getting stale. These are the same tactics they used against clarence thomas and roy moore. As with moore, dems are hoping enough gullible fools will believe their lies to block kavanaughs confirmation. And how ironic that doug jones, who got elected on lies and the votes of useful idiots, may have a key vote in the process. Those of you who sat on your high horse and refused to vote for roy moore should feel appropriately played, suckas.

I believe you need to more closely read the woman's letter and followup statements today.

Isn't it amazing how so many wicked women lie and make false claims about being sexually acosted by ''upstanding and Christian'' Republicans such a Brent Kavenaugh, Roy Moore and Donald Trump and how many saintly and truthful women make us aware of the terrible sexual assualts by lying Democrats like Bill Clinton, Garrison Keillor and Al Franken?  It is really amazing!

yup and here as an answer to one of those idiots.  Things like this will spell the end to the MeToo and cause enough people to question how legitimate the accusations are, keep in mind that this is the new standard for elections and appointments.  Anything sexual in your lifetime that is questionable.  You had unprotected sex with your girlfriend when you are 17 - you are no longer fit for congress,president, SCOTUS ...

Just remember Harry Reid started the nuclear option, and see where we are at.  The fact that the letter was sat on for months is a joke, if you have evidence put it out and let it be vetted.

Even if it is true, is it a reason to disqualify?  (Hypothetical) would not 35 years of rock solid behavior and performance "atone" for one youthful indiscretion?  Are we (collectively) not setting the bar so high and treating the nominees so harshly that even those who meet that seemingly impossible standard don't want to be subjected to an "intergalactic freak show"?

My daughter would know better to go to a swim party with 2-4 drunk male kids by herself, and unless she allowed it would not be hanging in a bedroom with 2 drunk boys and knowing how to defend herself his voice would still be a few octaves high years later.

Frankly in my opinion yes!  I would have felt the same way if it was an Obama nominee!  She has passed a lie detector test and, with her permission, a doctor who counceled her and her husband confirms her story has not changed. Rape and attemped rape are like murder...35 years of doing good does not erase its horror nor make it less a crime.  That is my opinion.  Now Mr, as I asked before, would you still be so supportive if it had been your daughter?

BTW: The other boy accused of being present at the assult has, as would be expected, denied it...well duh.  Of course he did have a quote in his HS yearbook...''Some women need to be struck on a regular basis, like gongs''.

65 women who claim to have been friends with Kavanaugh in high school have somehow been rounded up almost overnight to speak to his stirling character.  Kavanaugh went to an all boys high school.  I went to a coed public high school with 800 students and I did not know 65 girls.  Now I was something of a nerd and l'm sure you were a BMOC and knew lots of girls but I'll bet even you did not know 65 girls who could speak up for you at the drop of a hat!

Several hundred alums of Ms Ford's high school have spoken to her character.

And according to the "girls" who knew and dated him in high school, they texted each other and put the defense of him together themselves. 

The fact that you dont know anyone you went to school with does not mean no one else does or was the outcast that you must have been.  Having helped plan a 50th reunion a few years back it was not hard to locate the 90% of the people of the graduating class who is still alive and the majority came for the party.  Many are facebook friends and word got around very quickly.
