I don't have an accurate number for FSBOs at Lake Martin but nationally, they usually account for 10% or so of sales. So if that holds true for the lake, in a year like this that means about 30 sales, or a little less than 2 a month. Now, how many of those are "deals" - who knows. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I can say that in my opinion a high majority (80%?) of FSBOs that I run across are overpriced. But then again, looking at the MLS, I see some overpriced homes there, too.
