As I suspected, he is a backstabbing reincarnation of John McCain and now says we can't have a partisan on the court.  Is he kidding?!?!?  RGB, Kagan and Sotomayor are not partisan?  If he votes no then I am pretty sure that Collins and/or Murkowski will also vote no because they will have cover.  I am becoming increasingly enraged about this and have already started to send donations to the opponents of Manchin, Heitkamp, etc.  They all need to lose so we are no longer being held hostage by these Senators.  We need 51 solid conservatives in the Senate and we cannot count on those three, well two since Flake bailed when he realized he was going to be primaried.  He is a complete scumbag.

Bret was asked if he was also Barf. He refused to answer. A letter was published in New Times today signed by him as Barf. If a person can't admit he was Barf, he doesn't belong on the SC.  No credibility.

Flake has made no such statement.  He says he hopes to vote yes but if the FBI turns up anything that reinforces any of the claims against Kavanaugh he will not be able to do so.  I would hope ALL senators would be so objective rather than tribal.

I suspect MM was wishfully thinking because he realizes a rejection of Kavanaugh will energize the deplorables such as himself and turn the Blue wave into a red tide!  I almost hope the approve the SOB knowing how a rejection will effect the vote and realizing Trump's next selection will probably be an even bigger sleaze!

You are right for a welcomed change...assuming you realize the GOP has exactly the same problem of putting the preservation and wellbeing of the "group" ahead of the preservation and wellbeing of the entire national community!  What we are witnessing today is a blueprint for gradual national suicide!  The sad part is most of this forum either do not, at best, recognize what is happening and, at worst, know exactly what is going on and cheer it continuance!
