What was glaringly missing from her self-produced puff piece about her so-called DNA test is her reminiscing about how her parents had to elope because of her mother/grandmother being part native American.  Sorry, but the probability (not certainty) of 1/1024th Native American, even if true which I seriously doubt, puts the one Native American ancestor back ten generations and would not even remotely manifest itself in facial features nor would anyone recall from family history that 250 years ago there was a Native American in the woodpile.  So she has actually undermined herself even more than before and brought this issue back to the fore at a most unfortunate time.  Although if true it means that her actual Native American relative may have in fact been Pocahontas....oh wait, even she is too recent to be her relative.  RFLMAO!

And what is even better is that the average white European American is actually 98.6% European, 0.19% African and 0.18% Native American (from George Conway of the NY Times).  For you mathematically challenged that is 1/512 Native American.  So in essence your average American of European descent is actually double the amount Native American than Fauxahauntas. So Trump is probably more Native American than she is.  And of course it also means that we are all minorities because most of us have some tiny thread of DNA genomes from some protected class.  Great job Fauxahontas!  I'll be applying for minority status for government work shortly.

If you read into the results more they assumed the genetics of the American Indian since they have not allowed themselves to be genetically profiled -- they instead looked at Mexico Peru and Columbia and "tease out the markers" that would make a South American an American Indian.  They do not want to assume someones race or gender but apparently it is ok to assume DNA.

Detecting DNA for Native Americans is particularly tricky because there is an absence of Native American DNA available for comparison. This is in part because Native American leaders have asked tribal members not to participate in genetic databases.

“The tribes have felt they have been exploited,” explained Lawrence Brody, a senior investigator with the Medical Genomics and Metabolic Genetics Branch at the National Institutes of Health. “The amount of genetic data that is available from Native Americans is sparse.”

To make up for the dearth of Native American DNA, Bustamante used samples from Mexico, Peru, and Colombia to stand in for Native American. That’s because scientists believe that the groups Americans refer to as Native American came to this land via the Bering Straight about 12,000 years ago and settled in what’s now America but also migrated further south. His report explained that the use of reference populations whose genetic material has been fully sequenced was designed “for maximal accuracy.”

Bustamante said he can tease out the markers that these South Americans would have in common with Native Americans on the North American continent.

Well in her defense she didn't say native to what part of America........oh wait a second, she said her mother was part Cherokee and part Delaware Indian so there goes the Central and South American Indian angle.  Face it left wing nuts, she lied about it repeatedly and now she has doubled down in proving that she is not any more a Native American than I am.

Now let me queue up the Goofy postings about all the times Trump lied.

I wonder if this Bustamante does lie detector tests on the side when he's not digging up bones?

The new Bow and Arrow restaurant will be opening in Auburn soon.  If Fauxahantas decides against a presidential run, maybe she can find work as the maitre d'.

Nope, apparently Harvard made a big deal out of her native American heritage as they were under a lot of pressure to increase the number of minority law professors at the time.  Speculation is that Fauxahontas jumped all over that to get the gig.  There are a number of other instances where she claimed that heritage.  Since she is going to try to get the Dem nomination she has to try to fix this problem of her credibility.  And Trump is doing what he does best, sucking all the O2 out of the air and making her look like a fool and a fraud......which of course she is.  So she was trying to "put this issue behind her" now so it is old news when the primary season starts.  Let's just say the term epic fail comes to mind.  She would ahve been better off saying and doing nothing and hope it went away.
