Lesley Stahl was interviewing Trump - well it was more like a cross examination and along the lines of "when did you stop beating your wife".  She insinuated everything she could, and Trump just batted the questions away like he was playing Badminton.  I'm sure Lesley and her liberal ilk were quite disappointed, but no doubt they will find a way to twist what ever Trumps says.  Lesley is always a bit confrontational, but she outdid herself this time.

Most all critics agree that CBS and Stahl were outmatched!

CNN called it a "master class in denial and deception".   I don't think the majority of Americans will agree.

It was as clear as mud what Stahl's every question was designed to try to accomplish!

I haven't watched that show in probably 20 years.  I did hear a number of clips from it where Trump made Stahl look like the partisan foll that she is.  All these media types are playing checkers while Trump is playing chess.   Pretty humiliating moment for her and yet more free press for Trump to get his message out.

They helped with his election using tactics just like this.  The man is just enough quick sneaky and right to turn it on them every time

she was abrasive--like a bulldog--i thought very unprofessional; even my wife agreed; BUT HEY WARREN HAS NOW PROVEN SHE IS 1/1000006TH AMERICAN INDIAN

I don't even think Warren realizes how stupid she looks.  Even the tribes are on her.  She'll forever be Pocahontas.  Of course the media is trying to say that Trump is the fool - I don't think so....

I really don't know what happened to Elizabeth.  She is like Hilary now - shrill and screaming.

A liberal person just posted on FB that Trump "pivoted" on every question that Lesley Stahl asked... Huh??

Trump finally told the truth....".He tried to shut down Stahl with one line that was indisputably true: “I’m president,” he said, “and you’re not.”" He should stick to Fox where they feed him softball questions. He just played bob and weave with Leslie.

Now, he knows more about NATO than Mattis which should give every American a secure feeling. He is unable to just state the true facts but must appeal to his base by telling them what they want to hear. I must admit he does a great job conning his base.

Trump has to know more about NATO than Marine focused Mattis.  Just an FYI, Mathis’s knowledge of NATO is tunnel visioned to the military aspect of NATO’s members....who has which planes, tanks, and soldiers.  He is Trump’s expert for those aspects of NATO.  Trump has other advisors for political, economic, etc. aspects of NATO.  As President he compiles all info available, so, yes he knows more.  I posted this in a very simplistic fashion so that maybe you and arch-idiot can grasp the concept, and maybe avoid ya’lls stupid statements such as this.

Your response is an insult to anyone who has served in the military. During the campaign, Trump lied when said he knew more than the Generals about ISIS. Trump knowledge of NATO is limited to what he last heard on FOX. The country is safer cause of Mattis and his working with NATO's military and political leaders.

Don’t forget that your savior, o-BAMMIE, purged the military of 90% of it’s knowledgeable generals during his tenure.  Most generals left are dimokrap yes men.  Might include your beloved Mattis.....matter of fact, you are probably supporting Mattis because he is one of the dimokraps.

You are so obsessed with "lies". Can you ever make a post that is not based on your allegation of lies?

The truth is that the military is apolitical.  I doubt he has any strong leanings towards one side or the other.  I suspect he is focused on the welfare of the soliders and strategic planning.  Even those of us that like Trump and approve of what he is doing, know that strategic planning is not his long suit.  Military Generals are not impulsive creatures. I suspect there is frustration on both sides of the two men.  I think in high stakes, high pressure jobs it is not unusual to become frustrated - military training is facts, analysis, strategic planning and tends to rely heavily on intelligence.  That is just not Trump - he is a business man and used to going with his gut.

“The truth is that the military is SUPPOSED to be apolitical.”  This is a small, but very important, correction to your statement.  The stupid requirement to mix LGBTQUEERs, and females in with combat soldier units is totally a political move that served no constructive purpose, but it did force good generals out of the service so o-BAMMIE could cater to his POLITICAL subjects with his political generals.

You must have missed this...I try to be Fair and Balanced.
