Lyin Donald now is going provide a middle class cut before the election. Congress is away for the election, no hearings, nothing but a lie from Trump. He said the last cut was for the middle class...he now admits he lied. No beautiful health plan and no wall.

I sure hope the deplorables can show where Trump is not lyin cause the middle class needs a tax cut and the deficit won't be increased.

that demonstrates how intentionally divisive, petty, childish and hateful this man is!

The senate just approved a bill to fight the opioid epidemic 98 to 1 (the one nay was from a Republican).  At the signing ceremony Dear Leader Trump praised the bill which ''had very little support from the Democrats.''!!!

Wake up America!!

The first round of tax cuts are very popular, the economy is humming along and Trump is right to propose more tax cuts right before the election so voters will have a clear choice between the parties.  I still think Dems will take the House but this will do more to cut into their gains and assuming the GOP holds onto the Senate then the tax cuts will remain.

“Very little support” has nothing to do with the dimokrap “yes” vote.  As well known sheeple dimokrap politicians do as their “day masser say”.  It’s election time, Republicans know when to move on drug addict dimokraps.

The Support for Patients and Communities Act just went to his desk on October 16, 2018.  I have no record Archie that he has signed it yet.  Please verify.

Actually I believe you may be right.  Sorry, l misspoke.  The video available online apparently was of him giving praise for the bill after its passage, not his signing the bill.  I was not incorrect about the lie he uttered, only the circumstances of its being uttered!

President Trump Statement on Passage of the Support for Patients and Communities Act, H.R. 6

President Trump issued the following statement on 10/3/18 after the Senate’s passage of the support for Patients and Communities Act, H.R. 6, making it clear that he will sign it:

I applaud Congress for its extraordinary bipartisan effort and steadfast commitment to mobilizing the largest legislative effort in history to address the opioid crisis. Since Day One of my Administration, addressing this crisis has been a top priority. That is why I directed my Administration to dedicate unprecedented resources toward diminishing the devastating toll it has inflicted on communities throughout our country.

The support for Patients and Communities Act (H.R. 6) makes important investments that will lift people out of addiction, help keep illicit drugs out of our communities, expand public awareness and prevention initiatives to stop addiction before it starts, and save lives.

I want to thank the leaders of the many committees in the House and Senate who contributed to this landmark legislation, and recognize their remarkable leadership in strengthening our public health and safety responses. I look forward to signing this historic legislation.

Archie,

Where in the POTUS's official statement (which is more accurate than your online video from who knows where)  regarding the Support for Patients and Communities Act does he make the statement that you accuse him of?

it seems Archie is finding it difficult to find corroboration of his story.  Where have we seen that just recently?

You covering for Arch while he  gets ready to watch the big rally in Houston?  Just as Trump has done so many positive things for this country, he has now changed Lyin' Ted to Beautiful Ted and sometimes Texas Ted.  Rumor has it that the "Lyin'" moniker is now associated with someone in Atlanta.

Check out Trump's comments to his rabid fans in Lebanon, OH on Oct 12, 2018!

I watched an exerpt online this morning but cannot now find the original link.  But, as luck would have it I discovered the the same clip was shown on Morning Joe this very morning.  Trump said it to shouts and cheers and its on record!!

Wake up America!!

Looks like your nerves got you jerking on the clicker again....calm down, idiot.  The dimokrap term, racist, has absolutely no effect on me or 90% of the citizens of this country.  Use it on your dimokrap idiot buddies where "racist" really applies.

Again Archie, I viewed the transcripts of that rally available on C-Span.  No such statement.  Do you simply make this stuff up and don't think that intelligent individuals will call you on it?

CRD you are giving ARCH-IDIOT way too much credit on the thinking side.  He gains all his stupid info from reading the liberal krap websites planted to feed the dimokrap masses.....commonly called sheeple.  If it’s on the Soros site....it’s got to be the absolute truth!!!

Google "morning Joe video with Trump claim that opioid bill had little democratic support"...you can hear it with your own ears and then apologise for your last post!

I dare you and all the other Trumpistas on this Forum...see something that is factually true for a change!!

Archie,

Take the time to watch the whole segment.    Don't rely on MSNBC cut and paste tactics.  He never said that the bill had little demo support.  He was talking about Portman helping Congress pass a 6 billion dollar opiod funding package , "with little democratic support".

CRD, I don't understand your post.  The bill passed 98-1 with 1 R voting no and Ted Cruz was absent, In the House it passed 393-8. 1 dem voted no. YES TRUMP LIED. Sadly, you are falling for his lies.

Maybe, you can defend Trump and explain how, with overwhelming support from both parties, the dems did not support? The 2 parties disagreed on some provisions and reached a compromise.

Just using sentence dissection that I learned in 8th grade.  Subject, verb, predicate, etc. Not really a stretch at all.

May I suggest that you pull the video up.  Write down the sentences verbatim that led up to his comment, then get back to me.

"And I'll soon sign into the law the largest legislative effort in history to address the opioid crisis where just this year we got $6 billion from Congress -- thanks to Rob Portman and a lot of others -- thank you, Rob -- but Rob and so many others helped. Very little Democrat support. We also passed veterans' choice, the V.A. Giving our veterans the right to see a private doctor and the landmark V.A. accountability law to ensure anyone who mistreats our veterans, who we couldn't fire, we couldn't do anything about it, we now look at them and say, Jim, you're fired."

Now, where is the predicate or adveerb, or pronoun, or adjective, ot subject,etc.......All Dems voted yes in Senate and all but 1 Dem voted YES in the House.

Now, what is your point???

The reference was to the 6 or 8 billion, whatever it was.   If you had followed the debate since June leading up to the vote, you would find that Democrats thought that the spending portion of the bill was woefully inadequate.  The programs that they wanted funding for were, in many people's opinions, including mine, better handled either within existing agencies or at the state or local level.  More bureaucracy is not what this epidemic needs at the present time.  But for crying out loud Fish, for you and Archie to get your pants in a wad over a couple of words that were stated almost anecdotely is symptomatic of your all's TDS.  Did you get this alarmed when Obama said that if you like your healthcare, you can keep your healthcare?  If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor?  Embellishment is one thing, abject lieing is another.

The were born again under the demonrat tent the day DJT was elected - the previous 8 years they could find no wrong or fault in the administration almost like it was wiped away .. like with a rag or something.
