I was pondering the changing demographics of Cobb County, GA and it occurred to me that what we are seeing is typical parasitic behavior.  A parasite invades a host.  Once the host is destroyed it moves onto another healthy host until it also dies.  So Cobb County was a formerly conservative county with low taxes, low crime and excellent schools.  The parasites from the high tax/crime/terrible school system counties like Fulton and Dekalb move to Cobb seeking that which they cannot get in their current county.  However, they then vote for the very same kind of politicians that gave them the abysmal results in their former counties.  Once the new host, Cobb County, has been destroyed they will move on to other counties and destroy them as well.  It happened in Colorado and is happening in other states like Florida.

Progressives pretty much ruin everything they touch.  Like a plague of locusts, they devour and ruin everything in sight and then move onto the next area.

I wish there was some way your posts could reach beyond the Lake Martin Forum. We, the people, have got to find a way for the kinds of messages you post to go beyond this small audience. Have you ever thought about running for President? If there is not some way to overcome the damage the Main Stream Media and Democrats are spreading around the "country", we are all doomed to the plague of locusts.                                                                                                                                                                                               As a result of your post, I decided to look up the "definition" of locust.  As a summation, I found the following. Locust swarms are the evolution of a powerful force of "nature". Locusts are large harborvious insects that can be serious pests of agriculture due to their ability to form "dense and highly mobile swarms". Their destruction of crops and pastures jeopardises many livelihoods and adversely impacts global food security. Locust swarm "invasions" are swift and incrredibly destructive. "Black" swarm clouds race across the sky, creating an ominous solar eclipse-like-effect. Moments later, the plague of locusts descends, attacking every crop, tree and blade of grass in their path. Suffice it to say, locusts are a major global pest threatining the agricultural industry and affecting the livelihood of at least one tenth of the world's population. These insects are usually solitary, but under certain circumstances they become more  abundant and change their behaviour and habits, becoming "gregarious".                                                                                                                               Everyone can form their own "opinion", but I see a lot of similarities between locusts, the Main Stream Media, and Democrats. "LOCUSTS ON THE MOVE". Locusts are now "hovering" on the southern border waiting to make their move

Goofy, you are more unhinged today than usual.....which is saying a lot actually.  I'm not pissed about anything.  It just makes me sad to see a great county headed down the path of Fulton and Dekalb because of parasitic progressives. They are like animals that go to the bathroom where they sleep.  Once it gets too disgusting even for them they simply move on and repeat the same behavior.  No morals, no conscience, just base animal instincts.  I get that you like that kind of stuff, but as for me, not so much.

If I thought it would stop there I might move to Forsyth.  But at my age my next move will be out of a metropolitan area to somewhere more sane.  Don't have any desire to let the parasites live off me as their host.  Let them devour each other.  Watch and see what happens to Cobb over the next 15 to 20 years.  It is inevitbale like death and taxes.  Progressives ruin everything they touch.  Watch and see......

Since election day, I have paid very little attention to political commentary, lost ballots, found ballots, missing ballots, blue wave, no blue wave, red ripples, impeachment, indictments, supoenas, supoena power, who sits in what chair, who got fired, who got hired, who can't find an apartment, who can't find their own head up their arse, who is writing this book, who is criticizing that book, gerrymandering, immigrants, invasion, intrusion, Soros, Koch, Bezos, Fox, CNN, Oprah, and on and on.  And do you know what I have come to realize?  That this country's best and brightest are far from Washington DC, far from politics, far from state capitols, far from local government offices.  This country's best and brightest are among the fallen from WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, and we all could learn from their sacrifice just what government is supposed to provide, what liberties each one of us is entitiled to, how to manage a damn election, integrity, selflessness, supporting yourself instead of milking off of others, agreeing to disagree, supporting everyone's President, and most of all, how we all can continue to make America GREAT AGAIN.

Why should the country (government) “work” for anybody? Even Democrat JFK implored us to ask what we could do for the country, not the other way around. Is the government supposed to choose life’s winners and losers or just make everyone (ALL the people) equal in every way? Please point to any society where such equality exists. It’s not greedy to want to preserve what one has worked for, to give to charity as one chooses, and not be raked over the coals for those who won’t attempt to improve their own lives.

How is taking babies from their mothers incongruent with pro life? I assume you’re speaking of separating immigrant children from their mothers while they are detained, just like what happens to any children of jailed suspects of crime. What is your solution for children in either circumstance? Last I checked, the babies weren’t being murdered.

You state that the right believes in pro birth not pro life. WTH does that mean? Isn’t birth a pretty good indicator (fortunately, in most cases) of life? Perhaps you meant life in its entirety, and/or the quality of that life. Is the government supposed to be responsible for that? Has any government ever successfully done that? Do you naively believe that any government could?

The most prolific cultures are pro-life. The most selfish cultures are pro-abortion. The prolific will certainly overwhelm the pro-abortion. The prolific will first overwhelm the pro-abortion culture… and then, overwhelm their own resources.   And, do take note… the most prolific; except for amending their culture… can steadily overwhelm a Republic.  Democracy and its companion, The Republic… becoming meaningless as separate systems… and so, cease to exist as entities which protect the minority.  In the absence of a republic, Democracy = majority rules.

It is absolutely possible to divide up a pie such that not a smidgen of flavor remains. Waste no time considering that concept.   Before each piece of the pie becomes too small, there will be argument… conflict… and combat to feed the strong and drive away the weak.  The places at the table formerly occupied by the weak, will be marked by stains of blood.

The most astute liberals do not see this fate… because they have not studied its history. They wish to invite and import the prolific to the damnation of their own grandchildren (however few they are).  The more elite liberals probably have a vague plan to dominate the teeming masses. (I say “probably” because I can hardly perceive executing such without an uprising.)

Democracy begets socialism.  Socialism… when it runs out of other people’s money… begets communism.  Communism requires an oligarchy.  Sometimes, democracy can be manipulated to agree to a dictatorship.  Dictatorships and oligarchies live with the risk of rebellion.

Too much?

Don’t worry.  YOU won’t live long enough to feel the pain of your giving away the Republic.  The Republic depends on altruism. There’s a dearth of that about now.

There are numerous cities that share the same "GREATNESS" your "Real Americans" have bestowed on Chicago. If you were employed by a company and they said they were transferring you to Chicago and you were still young and had young children, would you make that move?

I'm with you.  We are able to win without him and he is too much of a distraction and negative influence.  Also, he gets hurt too easily and is just not worth the cost.  They can do a lot of good with that additional salary cushion like drafting a QB to replace Ben when he retires.

Apparently you don't have any concerns with Rosenstein's appointment of Mueller and his two year waste of taxpayer money. Interesting to note that "money" would mean more to you than the safety of your family in "murder" ridden Chicago, again a city managed by your REAL Americans who have brought them sanity. Since September 2011 at least 174 people under 17 have been killed in shootings and at least 1665 people in that age group have been shot. It is hard to believe that anyone would want to take their chances living in a city where they would be afraid to walk out their fron door.
