If we retire in the Dadeville area condos we are hoping to be close to quality Doctors, Dentist, Hospitals.  I've seen a dentist office not too far away but wonder if locals use this or prefer another further away.  I believe I saw a big hospital about a 30/45 minute drive away.  If anyone can recommend good quality doctor.  Also, Chiropractor.  Where we live now we tried a new Chiro and he wasn't very good, was a waste of money.  In smaller towns you don't have much to choose from.

Speaking only for myself, if you want quality Drs.  look in Auburn and Opelika.  Maybe you will get some personal recommendations from people in Dadvlle, but there isn't a Dr. in Alex City that I would recommend, and I don't recommend Alex City "Medical Center".  The Cancer Center (should the need arise and I hope that it doesn't) is under UAB (Univerity of Alabama at Birmingham).

Dr Washburn, in Auburn, is an excellent dentist. and all of his staff are terrific.

My wife and I have had excellent results in Dadeville with Dr Jamie Evans as general physician.

Orthoclinic in Opelika with Dr Frasier Jones  and Auburn Cataract Eye Clinis with Dr Weeks.

I absolutely agree about Frazier Jones and really all the Drs. in that practice are very good.

Dr Evans takes all the time you need to really listen to your problem.  And, her staff is top notch.  Also, you can make an appointment, no walk-in head of you.

We also recommended Dr Durbin for chiropractic adjustments in Alex City. He will be taking an associate new from college after the new year.
