We will be new to the area. What are your favorite spots for boating/floating? We are not fishermen. We like to cruise, float, whatch the scenery, swim. Curious about how many people have boated and/or swam then run into a water moccasin?

Floating-chimney rock or favorite cove. We like to float by our own pier.
Chucks is a local favorite for beer and pizza.
Been on the lake 20 years. Never seen a moccasin. That said, I have seen timber rattlers and copperheads. About the same as I see anywhere in the south.
