but why are the time-stamps on this forum in Eastern Time? Maybe it's ALWAYS been this way but I've sure never noticed!! On second thought, someone probably hasn't realized that Daylight Savings Time has ended ;-)

Been that way for 20 years. At one time the webmaster (Bruce) said he was going to fix it since the bulk of posts seem to be from the LM site. It has nothing to do with DST. It will spring forward and fall back with the rest of us.
