That kind of security is used when you are getting on an airplane. not when you walk into an airport!  There is a difference.

BTW:  Speaking of ''airport'' security... I would bet you are a big supporter of the ''no fly list'' and of ''concealed carry''.  So, where do you come down on the question of revoking the concealed carry lic of those on the no fly list?  Just wondering.

Love the wall image… I’m surprised some political cartoonist hadn’t thought of it.  GREAT SATIRE!

I am fine with the “no fly list” with respect to boarding a commercial airliner… if it is judicially and constitutionally sound.  There is still a question as to how someone erroneously on that list can expeditiously appeal.  But, anyone on that list should require intensive scrutiny if they show up at an airport.

If a person is on the “no fly list” also has a concealed carry the two conditions would not intersect until that person tried to board a commercial aircraft.  There ARE people on the list who don’t even know they are on it. If ANY person… list or not… tries to board with a weapon or any deadly device… they should go on the “no fly list” until adjudicated otherwise.  To me “brandishing” a weapon in the commission of a crime… is a felony.  I would… I’m NOT a lawyer… label unauthorized carry of a weapon and ammo onto an aircraft as a felony… besides being stupid.

NO CONCEALED CARRY on an airplane.  An accidental (or intentional) discharge could be catastrophic to all aboard.  Put the piece, sans ammo, in your luggage.

The "no fly list" appeals to me... sort of... it's complicated.

Loaded weapons on commercial aircraft DO NOT.

As I have stated several times, eliminating gun crimes in America is simple....disarm all dimokraps and illegals.  Same goes for “no fly” lists.

So TSA is wanding at the airplane itself now?  damn I better tell them they are doing it wrong, I get wanded and patted long before the gate.  Anyway the point is still valid.  If wanding a 5 year old to check for weapons and explosives before boarding a plane is of that high of a security threat - why do we allow thousands daily to come across our southern border without knowing anything about them?   Ellis Island used to have a quarantine hospital for a reason.

No fly list is a joke - considering that a congressman ended up on it and it took him months to get himself off of it.  And that alone would be more then enough reason to undestand that the revoking of someones concealed carry or 2nd rights because of a list that someone can put you on without due process or by mistakes and impossible for common people to get off of it again.  Denying due process is a joke and pipe dream of demonrats for back door gun control.

Just as you would be for that no fly list and loss of concealed carry without due process and open borders - I feel that you are the joke.

I am pretty sure Antifatech was not talking about concealed carry on a plane - that is just stupid.  but the idea a few years ago that if you were on the no fly list  you would not be able to carry or purcase weapons - also at which time there was no way to get off the list.

Antifatech is big on denying due process.

He describes his exchange with officials as something surreal out of a Kafka novel:

McClintock: “Why am I on the list?”

Official: “We can’t tell you.”

McClintock: “Well what criteria did you use?”

Official: “That is classified.”

McClintock: “How can I get off that list?”

Official: “You can’t.”

Eventually he managed to remove his name from the list but only after the California Senate spent months working with federal officials to clear his name.
