An old cabin at the point of the big slough before Neptunes Island (going toward The Landing and PC Marina).  The lady who was living there passed away in December, but I have a picture showing two burned out vehicles next to where the cabin was.  I hope nobody was in the cabin when it burned or if they were they managed to get out.  If anyone can tell me how to get a picture from my iPad photos onto a forum post I will upload one.

Is that the cabin that you could barely see until you were right next to it by boat?  The lot was eroding and getting very close to the house.

Yes.  Quite dilapidated, and the boathouse literally fell in on itself about a year ago.  The lady who lived there had cats and at night they caused quite a ruckus.  She came across as a bit eccentric, but I confirmed that she passed away in early December.  Not sure who the SUV and truck belonged to, but she did drive a small green Toyota pickup.

Those old cabins will go up in a second.  We donated our old cabin to the fire department and they did a practice burn.  Wasn't here  to see it, but those that were said it was a scary thing to watch.

I talked with a guy with ine of the VFD's in that area.  He alsdo is a qualified fire investigator.  He said somebody robbed the cabin and set it on fire.  He had to call the daughter of the lady that had passed away 30 days ago.  Sad, sad.  I would like to get one of these robbers in the crosshairs one day.
