The entire big man GOP establishment is DISGUSTED and APPALLED that a freshman woman member of the US house says ''M****r F****r at a private party but have no problem with the 71 year old ''man'' who is president of the United States (not to mention a sexual predator) using equally and more offensive language for all the world to hear from the stage at rallies, on Twitter and the Oval Office on an almost daily basis?!

In the words of Larry the Cable Guy...''Now ah don keer whut yee say...man, ats funny!''

Yet again...goose/gander...pot/kettle...will it ever end in Washington or Lakes online?

I don’t care either way.  But I do worry that folks on this forum are so preoccupied with Washington and the political parties.  I have a real problem of a burn pile under water in the lake.  And what’s for dinner tonight.  Now those are real problems in my life!

Good comments Carlson.  My guiding concern at the moment is realizing I'm heading to the beach tomorrow for 2 weeks of decompression and counting every minute til we back out of the garage and head south! 

The problem is that today this nation has become so divided and blinded by bias that at any moment in history approx 25 to 30% of the country (including most on this forum) on the extreme right is absolutely certain that the 25 to 30% on the extreme left is bent on destroying the nation and vice versa with NOBODY paying any attention to the 50 to 60% in between.  I am an ''extreme'' member of that middle group whether the typical poster on this forum has enough sense to realize or not*.  Until that great middle retakes the pulpit the screed will probably continue.

* Disgust, distrust and fear of the ''real'' agenda of Donald Trump does not place one in the extreme camp!! At least 40% of the nation is of that opinion.  Drop the 25% to 30% who are members of the Trump cult of personality and most of the remainder of the nation holds the man in contempt.

Seriously, enjoy your two weeks at the beach, but be sure to lock your doors and windows since you have announced that your house will be vacant for the next two weeks. Also, what is it about President Trump's "real" agenda that bothers you the most?

Just finished our dinner...clean all the left overs out the fridge!  I'm willing to have a not particularly satisfying supper with the knowledge that tomorrow night I plan to dine on a doz raw oysters and a pile of old bay steamed shrimp washed down with an ice cold Corona!

That he has no regard for the nation, the desires or well being of the nation's citizens or the fact he has no election mandate.  All he is concerned about is impressing that small minority of those who will in fact still support him even if he does shoot somebody on 5th ave (for example a large chunk of this forum) and satisfying his own ego! He is willing to throw anybody and the country under the bus in order to further those concerns. 

I'm sure you hold a different opinion.  That is your privilege, but a privilege I honestly fear I and others who feel as I do may lose if Donald Trump was ever able to acheive what he actually wants!  I am 99.5% sure he will not suceed, but I am not 100% sure and that alone is enough to scare the hell out of me!
