Nancy does not own the House chamber, it is owned by "we the people" so therfore she has no right to deny POTUS the opportunity to fulfill his constitutionally mandated SOTU. I would love to see POTUS tell her to stick in her ear and  demand use of the chamber. Then order the federal Marshall's to secure the chamber in time for the speech. I would bet if he did this Nancy would demand her dembicilles to boycott the speech. Imagine the great optics of that for POTUS.. He could start the speech by pointing out the empty seats and then have angel families fill the empty seats. What a show that would be.

I just don't believe legally she can deny the use of the chamber.

I like it.  Frankly, I am tired of all these power plays.  What does the State of the Union have to do with the shut down?  She's afraid that he will point out that the reason that the govenrment is shut down is due to Democrats unwillingness to negotiate.I notice the media loves to imply it is Trumps fault that the government is shut down - but it is equally the Democrats fault.

Basically, I agree with your summation. However, I do believe there is a connection between the "state of the union" and the "shutdown". At the moment, with the results of the recent mid-term elections, the border wall crisis, the shutdown, the Supreme Court appointment, the upcoming Attorney General appointment, the breakdown in the trust of the FBI, and many other similar concerns, our Country is being "divided" in such a way that, in my mind, has a diredt bearing on the "state of the union".

I think it's about POTUS having prime time TV audience with no restriction on time like the networks did with his previous speech. Wouldn't it be great if NanChuck gave the dembeiciles response. Maybe let AOC do a cameo at the end representing the communist wing of the dembecile party.  He should also add audio/visual props showing all the dembeciles  in support of the immoral ineffective wall. Maybe include some video of the wall around their compounds as well. Would be the best SOTU ever.

I love it. Waited till the last second to deny the flight. Best move ever. They thought they could just quietly slip out of the country while 400k employees work ithout pay. After two years you would think they would know better.
