So we know for sure he lied multiple times about his encounter with the high scool students in DC.  And we know he often referred to being a "Vietnam times" veteran, a misleading and intentionally obscure term.  And we know organozations with whom he was affiliated and the media often referred to him as a Vietnam vet and he never corrected them.  But now we know he has lied about beiing a Vietnam vet and is a Stolen Valor offender.

And this is what he was actually doing as a war hero.  In reality, Phillips served from June 1972 to May 1976 in the Marine Corps Reserve, a service spokeswoman, Yvonne Carlock, said Wednesday. He did not deploy, and he left the service as a private after disciplinary issues. From October 1972 to February 1973, he was classified as an antitank missileman, a kind of infantryman, Carlock said. He then became a refrigerator technician for the majority of his service.

For Goofy because he always demands proof.

Phillips is about as classy as DIMOKRAP Sen. Richard Blumenthal who has lied and claimed he served in Vietnam on many documented occasions.  It really takes a low life to claim such, when in fact Blumenthal got several deferments and finally served in the Marine reserves in the States....about the same high quality as Phillips.  Takes an eaual low life to vote for Blumental

Only reinforces what we already know - that anything can be twisted and turned by the media to show what they want to show.  Understand he "forgave" the kid, when there was nothing to forgive.  This man wandered into the group banging his drum and claiming he was drumming prayers - who asked him to do that?  And no one has said a thing about the black guys yellingn insults, calling white people "crackers" and worse.  Imaigne what the reaction would have been if it was the other way around.  They would have been rioting in the street with Benjanmin Crump and Jesse Jackson in tow.

And he never claimed to be a Vietnam vet.....what a phony.  He was a Fridgedairecon vet that never left the states and was AWOL multiple times.  And it also turns out he has a checkered arrest record under his other assumed name.  What a fraud and a phony.  What's even more disgusting is that my older brother served in Vietnam during the war on the aircraft carrier America and he refuses to call himself a Vietnam vet.  Has told me on more than one occasion that the only ones that deserve that were the boots on the ground.  Not sure I agree with him but I understand the sentiment.
