Auburn resident is looking for a part-time handyman to work at his Lake Martin home several Saturdays a month and weekdays if available.  The house is on Lake Martin in Dadeville near Walnut Hill.  

We are looking for someone who could start now, in February 2019, and be available to work this winter and spring and preferably over the summer and into next year.  If you are a student, we offer flexible daytime hours to accommodate your class schedule, exams, and/or other jobs. 

Work hours vary depending on tasks assigned and weather but average 6-8 hours per day, 2-4 days per month.  If your schedule permits, we can add more hours some weeks.  We have had several AU students work this job and our most recent student worker graduated in December. 

This job includes a variety of tasks. You need to have previous experience with yard work and basic home maintenance and handyman tasks including pruning, trimming, weeding, cutting small trees, minor repairs, cleaning, painting, etc.  We prefer you have experience with power tools (circular saw, drill, and sander), pressure washer, and chainsaw and be able to work safely with tools.    We will provide tools and supplies; we just need a person with previous experience. Carpentry skills are a plus. 

You must have a good work ethic, be well organized and reliable, have good attention to details, and know how to meet deadlines.  You must provide your own transportation.  Pay starts at $10 per hour or more depending on experience.
