sadly if someone slapped you with stats or the hundreds/thousands of family members killed, raped, violently abused by illegal people you won’t care.  Millions here illegally draining resources meant for our citizens wouldn’t phase you either.  So was your question rhetorical or are you just callous enough that there are no reasons that matter to you.  When it happens to you, please just grin and bear it.

Oh… we need not worry!

Our children and our grandchildren will handle this.

Socialism… no problem!  If the kids don’t work…’s okay.

If they do work… they can handle it.

Open borders… ANYONE can come.  Our children and our grandchildren will handle it.  They’ll sort out the criminals from the terrorists.  They won’t be the elite behind walls… but, it’s okay… they’ll handle it.

 Without their “guns.”  Guns won’t be a problem… nobody… ‘cept  the government and criminals will have them.  (That was a dumb concept… those old white men… slave holders… Freemasons… landed gentry… they were SO STUPID to write a constitution like that.)

 Just you go to sleep tonight.  Lay your old gray head upon the pillow.  Your time has come and gone.  You were just “dust in the wind.”  Whether it was a better place… or not… for your being here… well... what COULD you do?

 Venezuela… just some other country… some other grandchildren… some other elite.  Why do you care?  It wasn’t YOUR problem.

A very "touching" post, especially for an "Old Grandad" like me. It's sad that we have a couple of contributors to the forum who seem to have no "sympathy" for the thousands of families who have lost "loved ones" at the hands of illegal immigrants, M-13/M-18 gang members, drug cartels, rapists, murderes, child abusers, etc. I don't understand why anyone "fails" to support whatever actions are necessary to prevent these heinous crimes. One of the "primary" actions required to limit such criminal activities is the securing of our Southern border, using whatever means that are deemed necessary. I can only hope and pray that none of the people who we have come to know in an unusual way as members of this forum ever experience an "atrocity" like we are seeing happen almost daily in our country today, and I also share the same feelings for those who we only come to know through reports from the daily news. I think as "human beings" we should all support our government in their effort to provide for our safety and security.
