No damage in Widermere area but south of Auburn in Lee county, terrible damage and 15-20 casualties.

We live near the dam and there was no severe weather in this area of the lake.  We probably got an inch to inch and a half of rain, but no high wind, hail or anything like that.  We were very fortunate in light of what happened in south Lee County.

No damage that I have heard of.  No weather warnings, at least none I would have heard or seen.  When the main front came through there was heavy rain, but not much thunder about 2:30 - 3-:00.  1.4” of rain here.

Thank you guys, glad the lake area is ok. May God bless those who lost their lives and those who survived but lost loved ones, homes and more.

I was watching WSFA (Montgomery) most of the afternoon.  When they saw that tornado cuplet and the velosity of the wind, they knew there was a very big tornado on the ground - followed by another big tornado.  They were literally screaming for people to get in a safe place.  My heart goes out to all those that suffered losses and lost loved ones.

Here at the lake, we had a big rain that started around 11:30 and it rained heavily for about 2 hours.  Then it cleared, but the temps started dropping.
