As the famous dog says, "Ruh roh rastro!"  Barr is indeed going to investigate the politicization of DOJ and the FBI, which will almost certainly expand to NSA and the CIA (think Clapper, Brennen, et al).  The number of people who will be pleading the 5th is going to be fun to watch.  FISA abuse, marketing in opposition research and passing it off as intelligence data, lying to Congress and on and on.  The next two years should be a cascade of damning information, especially since the current administration is much more forthcoming to subpeona from groups like Judicial Watch.  Having said all that, I will actually be shocked if there are indictments but you never know.  There's a new sherrif in town and the way Democrats are slandering Barr they are not going to be in a great position to apply pressure on him to look the other way.

He is also planning to take a look at the Hillary email matter to see why the FBI did not follow norms.

All government agencies need a periodic investigation. It does seem like the FBI and Justice have become much more polical than I ever remember.  No doubt that some people will be looking for a new job.  Having said that, I hope the intent is to be more apolitical and just not to have it lean in the direction of Republicans or Democrats.
