Subject:	Abandoned dogs

I know there are some rescue folks that reab the forum so if you can help it will b greatly appreciated by the animals and humans. There is a house on throad coming into our subdivision where the occupants left 3 dogs. Myself and others I believe have been going by and leaving food for them. The female has littered in the past week or so. They have been alone for about a month now and need a good human. Contact me through the forum for more info. I will help wrangle them. They are skittish but have gotten used to me coming by with food.

I already have dog I rescued from this same house 3 years ago.

I think we all are famiar with the saying, "A dog is a man's best friend", but you are the epitome of the opposite saying, "Man is a dog's best friend".

I often wonder what owners that abandon their dogs think will happen to the dogs.  Do they believe that people won't let them starve and eventually give them a home?  I have 2 dogs that were abandoned, and one that was dropped at the shelter with her litter of 9 puppies.  Sometimes by the time they are found, they have picked up heart worm or other parasites that need vet treatment.  I wish that abandoning dogs was a punishable offense.  What kind of human beings do that kind of thing.  

Thanks for feeding the dog and her litter.  You have a kind heart.

Their leaving was not by choice. They are now residents of the county/state crossbar hotel. But there was a dog problem there for years. Liter after litter of basically wild pups. I think I speak for most of the neiborhood when I say good riddance to the humans, but its not the animals fault. The little Mama dog is just a pup herself but she appears to be suckling the pups. She's a cute dog. The other little dog is very shy and the big dog is a sweety. I would take any one of them but the boss has declared a one dog only policy.
