Now Bernie and Kamala are saying they want the Boston Marathon bomber to be able to vote.  It even stunned Don Lemon, which can tell you how crazy these people are.  No wonder Biden delayed his entree into the race.  If dimwits like them are getting traction he should probably reconsider because their people are telling them this is what the base wants.  I anticipate Stacey Abrams to shortly tell us if mass murderers had been allowed to vote she would have won the governorship.  I understand their stance on illegal Democrats but this is just beyond any grasp on reality.  Sadly, in the state of Florida they probably can vote along with the other million or so other felons.

Bernie's home state VT allows felons to vote while in prison. Other state is Maine. Don't agree.

Your state Georiga allows felons to vote after completing sentence, probation, and parole.

Florida passed similar law in November 2018....

Sanders was pressed by Anna Carlstein, a Harvard University student, who questioned comments he previously made urging imprisoned felons to have their voting rightsreinstated. She asked if he supports “enfranchising people like the Boston Marathon bomber, a convicted terrorist and murderer” as well as individuals convicted of sexual assault.

“As it happens in my own state of Vermont, from the very first days of our state’s history, what our constitution says is that everybody can vote. That is true. So people in jail can vote,” Sanders said. “Now here’s my view: If somebody commits a serious crime — sexual assault, murder — they’re going to be punished.”

He further noted that while an individual who commits a serious crime will “be in jail for 10 years, 20 years, 50 years, their whole lives” as a result of their actions, but that should not disqualify them from having a right to participate in American democracy.

So does this also mean we should support restoring 2nd amendment rights to terrorists and murders while they are in prison/after prison?  or is that were you draw the line at which constitutional rights are avilable to terrorists and others behind bars or once they have served their time?

Why should we restrict alcohol and tobacco in prisions either - both are legal to have and use.  Voting, guns, booze, cigs and I-Pads for all in prision!!!!!!  NO restrictions on sex abusers/pedophiles/rapists/drunk drivers or any convicts.

Right, after they complete their sentence, parole and probation....not while they are sitting in prison.

So Kamala quickly figured out how crazy and unpopular this idea is.  I suppose it was Cher's criticism that swayed her.  It's no wonder she is polling at 4%....she is incoherent and radical in the wrong way for the socialist party.  But not Comrade Bernie.  Nope, he still fondly remembers his honeymoon in the USSR and his love of Fidel and Che.  He probably has pictures of Mao and Pol Pot in his house and kneels before them in adoration every day.
