Let me answer that for you.  The two perps are leftists who hated Christians and one is transgendered.  So no wall to wall coverage by the media, no calls by left wing nuts for more gun control.  And left wing nuts wonder why we claim there is a blatant, obvious bias in the govt media.  This is just one of thousands of examples.

Put your imagining hat on and tell me how this would have been covered.  Two Christian, MAGA hat wearing students went in and shot up a school with minorities and LGBTRSTUV students.  It would be all the media could talk about.  But this doesn't fit their ideology so they hide what is really happening in this country with violence against Christians, pro lifers and Trump supporters.

You may very well be right but I would like to thik it is because they have finally realized that sensationalizing these things tends to inspire others.  I'm more interested in why young people would desire to hurt and kill their classmates.  One surviving student said it was no surprise, since one of the shooters talked about it all the time.  

What I find sad, but heartening is that student are taking action to try to stop the shooters.  that shows real courage.

We shall see but I am skeptical.  The next shooting will test your theory but if it fits their narrative I am pretty much convinced that it will be covered completely differently.  As for the real problem, it is the culture of death that is driving these shootings.

And I agree completely about the courage of the young man that was killed saving others.  There is a reason we should pray not to undergo the test.  We all like to think we would act likewise in a similar situation but you never know until that moment comes.   And the instinct for survival is incredibly powerful.  Amazing to me every time someone in a situation like this is able to overcome that urge.

Agreed 100%  - another aspect of it is that for a long time students are told run/hide/fight ( fight being the last resort ) same used to be procedure for hijackers of airplanes.  I think that part of the reason some are stepping up and going toward the problem and not run/hide is that if they have watched any news at all they know that in the early minutes they are on their own and in horrible cases such as Florida when officers on site and arrive while the sounds of gunfire are still active - but still decided not to go in quickly to protect children.

We saw the same with the  passangers over Pennsylvania that the hijackers on 9/11 were not just going to fly to some airport and wait for a ransom, or want some terrorist released somewhere.  

More people fight back when they know the other choice is just to allow a bad person to kill yourselfe or others and I think as it gets worse and it is no longer just "Sit tight and everything is going to be OK" that more and more people will do what they have to do to protect themselves or others.

STEM School students walked out of a vigil tonight after @RepJasonCrow & @SenatorBennet spoke. Students said their grief was being politicized. They later returned, took the mic, and some said they didn't want to be used to promote gun control. #copolitics #9NEWS

Apparently the vigil was put together by gun control groups brady and other gun control groups
