into this issue about the John McCain being hidden from view during Trump's visit.  The Republican senator who replaced John McCain called for a special investigation.  Honestly, can they think of any more ways to waste the taxpayers money?  The ship isn't named for that McCain anyway - his father and grandfather were Admirals and the ship is named for them.  Do they really think Trump demanded this?  No way.  These visits are coordinated at the staff level and someone, probably not in the WH, decided this might be a good thing or another way to try to villianize Trump.  And who leaked this to the media?

Even if, and that's a big if to me, someone ordered it to be covered so POTUS wouldn't have to see it then why was it uncovered on Saturday before the visit? Latest fake news is the "order" came from the pentagon. Sure it was. Problem is somebody disobeyed orders and uncovered it on Saturday. Of course we all know that troops in the field are always ignoring and disobeying orders from the pentagon.

Liberal media is making a big deal because they have such thin skin they assume POTUS is the same. I'm pretty sure he has more on his mind than some petty stunt so he doesn't have to be offended by seeing the name on a ship. Trump's style is more along the lines of just ordering the name of the ship changed.

More likely is that no one would have noticed or cared - probably the same loon who wrote the note is the same loon who leaked it to create the news cycle of a manufactured crisis.

The Pentagon and the PACOM Commander say they didn't order it.  So was this some eager beaver in the Navy who suggested it?  But whether or not, whoever or not, why is such a big deal being made about it?  We all know that Trump didn't like McCain, and McCain didn't like Trump.  Trump was snubbed by McCain, who publicly wrote that Trump was not to attend his (self directed) State Funeral, you get much worse than that.  Perhaps McCain's wife or daughter made some calls and convinced some stupid staff officer (or Admiral), because they didn't want Trump to rail about McCain in his speech.  But so what?
