Anyone else having a problem with palmetto bugs?  How to get rid of them?  There is no food left out for them.  What can we use to keep them out of our house?

Call S & S Pest Control at 334-745-0666. We have quarterly service with them. We sometimes see a Palmetto bug but he/she is always 10 toes up.

+1 on S&S.  We used to have them as well and as stated above, since getting S&S the only seen Palmetto's are dead Palmetto's.

You must be a transplant to the area.

Ditto on S&S. Since obtaining their quarterly service critters have ceased to be a problem.

We use Top Gun for quarterly treatment and have had good results.  Ants were about to haul the house off until we started treatment and now we rarely see them.

We have our house sprayed once a year and I've never seen one here.  We use local business SWAT.

I think they are disgusting, but also know they are prevalent here.

Our biggest bug annoyance is Carpenter Bees borning holes in cedar posts.
