Granted we have a long way to go but for now Bernie is headed into the tank.  I'm not at all surprised because in 2016 he was the only socialist running for the nomination.  He now has lots of competition and they are eroding his support.  Can't say that I blame them given Bernie's many homes, flying first class with his wife in steerage and the fact that he is so old and far too white.  And it appears that Biden's star is likewise fading, although not to the degree that Bernie's is.  His appeal was always the nostalgia for Obama but he just doesn't do socialism well and that is what the Democrat primary voter wants.  If you were to ask my guesstimate today, I would say that Kamela Harris will be the nominee.

I never thought Bernie had a chance.  He's just an old socialist windbag, who doesn't mind exploiting the "perks" of his position.   I don't think Joe Biden is through.  He has a very folksy appeal and he has a reputation in Congress for beng able to work across party lines.  And he is still #1 in fund raising.  Kamala is #2 in fund raising and no doubt she will appeal to the black voters (although I think Trump Jr. got it right, questioning if she is "black enough" with an Indian mother and a Jamacian father.  She certainly can't call herself Africian American.  Booteigg (or however you spell his name) has a lot of independent donors and he is not so far left that middle of the roaders will be turned off.  

It's way too early to predict a nominee.  Kamala Harris still has plenty of time to stick her foot in her mouth and overstep.
