Now I guess we have to apologize for the Revolutionary war and people like Betsy Ross?  As far as I know, slavery didnn't play a big part in the Revolutionary War.  Is there any end to it?

Nike's move proves it either :

a) supports Kapernick and his beliefs 

b) is stuck supporting Kapernick and his beliefs

If they ignored Kapernick, or better yet, separated from him, the backlash against the company and ultimately sales would be significant.

There would be less Kyrie, Lebron, KD, Kobe and PG3 shoes bought for a while.

I grew up in a town rich in revolutionary war history and never knew that the war with Britain was about slavery.  Need to do some reading today, on the 4th, to get versed in what the war was really about.
